Why dont you tell everyone the story of when you used to work at HJs hahaha
Oh I used to work at HJs back when I was a kid too. I once stole a bag of Coke syrup, then realised I had absolutely no use for it.

Long story short, but I ended up feeding it to some quokkas on Rottnest Island.

My favourite thing about Chicken Treat is that a few years ago they let a literal chicken run their Twitter account. Betty the Tweeting Chicken. :)

I have never been in California. I have been in insane places like countryside Iowa, but I lived in Maryland in the outskirts of Washington.

The US can be an acquired taste. With time, you find their hidden gems. It’s fascinating.
Dude, I went to high school in a small Iowan town.

How do you guys rank the fast food chips?

My list is:
1. KFC
2. Red rooster
3. HJ
4. Maccas

Maybe harsh for maccas but a lot of the time i get maccas chips they aren't even bloody hot

KFC chips are horrible unless you ask for extra salt.

Oporto's chips FTW.

I've had two pub schnitzels in two days, and KFC for lunch today.

philreich is going to need to send me to fat camp.

You bet you're going to have to go to Image Enhancement Camp, that's hardly enough food for one day. The Rats Charter states that your weekend food consumption should be four schnitzels (two per day), one box of Cadbury Favourites, and three meals from any of McDonald's, KFC, Hungry Jack's or Red Rooster

1. Hungry Jack's (especially since they switched to the thick-cut chips with the awesome seasoning)
2. KFC (consistent, good flavour, good size)
3. McDonald's (consistent, good salt-to-chip ratio, size suits McDonald's meals)
4. Red Rooster (the size and shape of the chip is nice, but I'm not a huge fan of the seasoning. However, when they're coated in gravy they move to =3rd)

What's your go-to Hungry Jack's meal serial_thrilla?
Bacon Deluxe and/or Whopper with Cheese.

Back in the day I liked their Grilled Chickens, but they ****ed up the recipe somehow. I think they replaced those delicious blended chicken patties with actual chicken breast.

Weather and fast food

MannumPower, remember the days when SFA banter was all about comparing your abilities which you have no control over?

[my opponent] picks his nose, then he eats it, then he shits it out, then he eats it again.

I can't offer too much in the way of discussing the Grilled Chickens, given I've never had one, but the Bacon Deluxe's and Whopper with Cheese are excellent choices

My usual is a Triple Cheeseburger, I think the extra mustard and ketchup does wonders compared to McDonald's

HJ's big advantage over Maccas is their mayonnaise and the flame grilled beef. The Whopper and Bacon Deluxe both utilise those ingredients to their fullest. HJ's burgers need to be juicy, so if you get them after they've been sitting in the warmer for an hour or so and dried out they're awful.

Angry Whopper goes down well.

Used to get the Ultimate Double Whopper all the time, but they made it too expensive.

Hungry Jacks used to have an Aussie / Australian (not sure of the exact name) that had egg and beetroot in it and i recall that was quite nice.

Over the years i think it was changed and the last one i had was a bit bland.

I couldn't quite put my finger on it at first, but yeah the flame grilled beef is a big advantage. I agree too with the 'eating straight away' call, usually Triple Cheeseburgers aren't as popular as Whopper's or single Cheeseburgers so I haven't had a problem with them being dried out
