I stayed up for that one (bit easier being in the west, 10pm start). What a game! MWPP must be on cloud nine.
There were a few times when I was going to turn it off as it seemed England were going to win. The dodgy "Win Predictor" had England 71%, NZ 29% late in the game. NZ went for it and a couple of the English bowlers chocked.
Even one of the commentators said "what rhymes with Woakes?".

I watched the first bit but couldn't stay up until the end because of an online conference I'm attending that's streamed from Canberra ie based on AEDT and one where my soon-to-be boss is presenting to boot, but I woke up to the news this morning and it made my day
Thankfully I have Kayo so will watch it this afternoon once today's conference is over
Given our history I'm nervous about the Final but also stoked to have made it
I went to bed last night with few expectations as they were the unbeaten favourites
We seem to love the underdog title though

If it’s Australia then I think NZ goes in favourites. You’d probably have to back Pakistan over NZ purely on the basis that they’ve beaten them once already this tournament but I certainly wouldn’t be confident about it.
You’ve got to hand it to this current New Zealand group, they always seem to bring their best when it matters.
