Woke up to the news that England choked a semi final, what a day.

Been to any good gigs lately, JoshWoodenSpoon?

Mostly been local gigs (obviously) for the last year and a half for me. Can't believe how many great musicians Brissy has to offer. Been one of the few upsides of COVID. Crazy to think I saw Merzbow and Wiki in two days at the start of last year, and only maybe 5 touring acts since.

William Barton played a free show down the road from me with a string quartet, and featuring some poetry and singing from his mother. Really moving stuff, completely blew me away.

I've mostly just been to club shows and regular experimental gigs (Outcome Unknown and NoiseMaschin!!). Pretty light on. Saw Feast of Snakes for their LP launch. Going to a new fixture that's kicking off tomorrow - "RazorBouquet is an offline exhibition of online surrealism, spanning genres such as cloud rap, breakcore, post-vaporwave, witch-house, digital hardcore, hyperpop and hard dance."
