Apart from an early title with a superteam before superteams were really a thing, Doc and Ken are very similar in their ability to remain employed despite tanking the program of the clubs dumb enough to employ them.

Obligatory inclusion of Crows and Port chairmen, coaches and captains.
Only one remotely deserving of being in that list is Dawson - and he'd be pick 97!!!

Hinks described as "continues to defy the naysayers".
Yep. Defiant - and continues to fail, and continues to prove the naysayers 100% correct.
But he defies 'em
Why is Jordan Dawson more influential than anyone at Port Adelaide?

Stupid list to fill the gaps in a dying media leading into Xmas.

Hinkley sucks but in a sport hungry state, the AFL coach of one of the two teams of the most popular sport in this state is always going to make one of these lists.

"Port Adelaide is honing a more handball-happy, faster-paced game style it hopes will help its Charlie Dixon-less forward line."

Yeah, handball the shit out of it, and if that isn't working, revert to Kenninkleyball, bomb it long to whoever happens to be there and pray.

F*** me.

Keep changing everything but all the key guys who have been there for a decade-plus, that’s the secret.

Am I remembering correctly that he once said he didnt really know much about our opposition and just worried about us?
Fairly certain this was after the SF loss to GWS in 2023. As if losing the semi wasn’t enough, the clearly inept coach we continue to employ sprinkles some extra salt in the wound by admitting he doesn’t even do his job properly not even 2 months after somehow securing another extension.

If I see that ****er in the street it’s wraps…

It was after the horrendous GWS loss away this season - not a huge loss in terms of the margin but a performance in which the optics were terrible - during which Toby Bedford tagged Zak Butters out of the game.

He was asked in his presser whether he was aware of Bedford’s abilities as a tagger and whether they had any plans to counter it, and he responded that he didn’t know much about Bedford and had no idea he had been tagging.

Ken has just put down his Four ‘n’ Twenty meatlover sausage roll with HP Sauce and stormed down from his Australian Outdoor Living alfresco area and drove down to Alberton to say this…

He hasn’t been Camperdown world premiership champion of the world.

Three for me and two for them, respect, respect.

Doc Rivers has been fired several times and at least has won a championship as a head coach.

It's not the same scenario.

Doc Rivers championship was the first superteam, it's really hard to credit him with that given how strong that team was compared to everyone else, and his horrendous record of torpedoing teams since.

The fact that he keeps getting hired is insane.

It was hardly the first superteam...'86 Celtics, Jordan's Bulls, '00 Lakers, hell the '03'05 Spurs were just as Super as the '08 Celtics.
