This thread goes nowhere at a rate of knots.

A couple bombs get dropped a few days back with no further explanation and we spend a couple days speculating before turning our attention to black lines between the teal and white v's on the guernsey and now Hinkley's middle name.

For crying out loud someone throw us an actual bone that we can chew on.

I can assure you that no one has guessed what the current plan is.

Once the plan has been ratified at board level I'll put something in here prior to its formal announcement. Until then, I'm enjoying the panic and the guessing games 😂
My 3 guesses:
1) Co-Coaches
2) Ken to become AFLW coach, Arnell to be moved elsewhere
3) In 2026 Ken will pull a LinusTechTips and become 'Chief Vision/Culture Officer'

Upset is too strong a word. It's going to upset a fair few on here, but will also be met with indifference, which imo is even worse because once you take away emotion from the supporter base, you don't give them much reason to stick around.
IMO sounds magpies / AFL Reserves related. Maybe we're set to join an AFL reserves as PAFC & leave a dummy 'port magpies' to appease the SANFL?

Honestly I reckon what Chewy is talking about with no one being happy is that yes we will be getting Carr in charge, but the bulk of our coaching staff will stay on and have further internal promotions.

Sutcliff and hartlett will probably replace Carr’s role.

I think chewy is refering what the plan is with ken rather than assistants as he has said he hopes to see a beefed up team behind carr. To me Ken is sticking around in some capacity as most on here want him as far away from the club as possible.
What role ken will have i cant work out.

To think we’re eternally lumbered with this spud because he achieved the ‘miracle’ of taking what was the most underfunded club since death row Fitzroy from 5.5 wins before he arrived, to a 13-11 record following a cash injection that saw the likes of Darren Burgess and Alan Richardson join him in directing the likes of Travis Boak, Chad Wingard, Robbie Gray and Ollie Wines to play football good.

Record breaking coach for all the wrong reasons is still here, what a shithole club this is.
I'm still pissed that he never got sacked, he just strolls off into the sunset like he's Leigh Matthews.

maybe josh is willing to have ken up in the box again so they'll manufacture some co-coaches crap. ken must get really cold down there for 3 hours, nothing to do, unable to understand the modern game in front of him

I reckon they are gonna deploy the coaching human centipede. Ken at the front, carr first up behind him then all the assistants ending with Sutcliffe.

Then they'll attach Expat Power after Sutcliffe.
