A goaless half like that is all on the coaching. We got plenty of the ball, but didn't know what to do with it or when we tried to follow the gameplan, didn't have the players in the right spot (or in the team at all).

True believers has to go from the marketing. The players believe less than anyone.

This will be a cracking press conference
Obviously it was never going to be.

I want any of you young people in South Australia to use that as evidence that you need to leave that state.

Everything that is wrong and sad about South Australia is in that little "press conference" with those amatuer hacks masquerading as journalists licking the gooch of career loser ken hinkley.

Refusing to ask the obvious questions.

It's a go nowhere state of too many losers, I'm sorry. Just get out now

That press conference was utterly bizarre. Hanging his hat on a final quarter when they're down by 50 and to that point kicked 1 goal in the first three quarters. Apparently they "kept coming." Wtf is this nonsense? What game was he watching?

It honestly felt after watching that presser that he was watching a different game to what actually happened tonight. The man is a delusional ****wit and needs to go asap before the cancer of Ken spreads through the club beyond reproach.

The difference between the teams was just that "7 or 8 minutes where Melbourne blew the game open". He may actually finally be descending into madness.

Last year we kept hearing "it doesn't matter who is out - we have a squad mentality".

But now ... just heard Hinkley using outs as an excuse for how bad we've been. Smfh.

For all his incompetence, his reaction to the Brisbane loss was the wrongest rein he could’ve pulled.

Rather than “injuries, good effort, tough conditions”, it should’ve been, “we should’ve found a way. we blew it”.

This goes a long way to why we’ve never been a reliable team.

A shocking upset, collapse or heartbreaker is always right around the corner, because the standard has never been non-negotiable and the consequences of defeat never starkly spelled out.

In microcosm, Connor Rozee has been taking the p¡ss all year and is in zero danger of losing his spot.

And the chief architect of this cultural binfire is being backed in by all and sundry.

Even, I can’t.

Always treat a press conference as if the players are listening.

I can't remember who said that but it's a good rule.
