This whole thread is troll-worthy.
What is an example of a naysayer?
A naysayer is a person who always says "No." Naysayers are negative and cynical — they aren't much fun to be around. If you respond to every invitation with, "No thanks — I wouldn't have fun anyway," and answer questions about how your day was with a list of complaints, you're a naysayer

i find it refeshing that a poster from another club posts on this thread and gives a viewpoint. ....
Are you really that stupid that you can't see why an opposition supporter would wants us to stick with Hinkley?

I wouldn't change a thing if I were him either. Probably banked about $8 million by now to deliver stability without success for a record breaking period of time. Meanwhile us supporters get told we're expecting too much, that we're abusive and that it's actually our fault we don't win for daring to question this unprecedented reign of mediocrity on an internet forum.
I doubt you'd go on radio in the days after getting annihilated in the PF and say it out loud though.

Its always such fun when opposition fans come in here and tells us we're ungrateful swine for wanting to win the occasional premiership.

"As he waits to learn his fate"

"Hard to sleep some nights"

Sheesh, anyone would think he was on death row rather than some guy getting paid nearly a million bucks a year for 11 years to coach an AFL club without even being successful at it.

That's $800k a year or approx $8.8 million over the last 11 years
Life's tough

UnAustralian:
Port Adelaide President David Koch has refused to rule out replacing Port Adelaide Coach Ken Hinkley with the cash cow, now that he has more time to focus on his team following his standing down as Sunrise host. “I’m not afraid of making the hard calls as President, like building a wall around our home ground to keep out the Victorians,” said Kochie. “I respect Ken Hinkley and admire him, but as a President I want results and so far Kenny hasn’t delivered.”
“The cash cow on the other hand he always delivers and costs a fraction of what we pay Kenny.”
When asked what knowledge of football the cash cow has Kochie replied: “He’s a cow, what more does he need to know. I mean the footballs are made from cow leather, not Hinkley leather.”

Why would anyone be this invested in an oppositions coach? Why would a Hawthorn fan care so much about Ken Hinkley. Makes me think it's a suspicious account.

A Hawthorn supporter who only just signed up to BigFooty this month.

Think about it. You were a record-setting basket case 11 years ago. Now, sitting second on the ladder with the list in great shape at the start of a premiership window, having been to four finals series (soon to be 5) including two prelim finals, you want to sit there and suggest someone else could've done better?

Not only that, but that the guy in charge deserves nothing but scorn and vitriol from the club and its supporters. That even if you win the premiership he is still a donut eating-dips**t who can go f**k himself.

Of course, how reasonable.

Pulls out the ol' "Basket Case" when has no reasonable point left
Crows nuffie confirmed

You have absolutely no idea. The culture of this football club was built in part on the expectations of the supporter base. Plenty of ex players are on record as fearing the direct feedback given by supporters for not performing to that expectation. We unapologetically demand success and that feedback loop between club and supporters is (was?) a big part of the club's ethos.
The honest criticism that came our way after round 3, may have also been what triggered this long dormant group out of their slumber.

Most Port supporters regarding Choco:
He's Port royalty and he took us to our first AFL premiership, but maybe we could have done a bit better in that era and we choked a few finals away.

The same people regarding Hinkley
LEAVE HIM ALONE, HE'S DOING THE BEST HE CAN! THE PLAYING LIST OF ALL AUSTRALIANS AND A BROWNLOW MEDALIST ISN'T VERY GOOD!

"We didn't even win a spoon"

You finished 17th on percentage above an expansion team in their first year. Who the hell are you trying to kid? You were a basket case who would've found it tough going against West Coast this year. The only reason you weren't bottom 4 the following year is that the AFL introduced another team. Your delusion is indeed complete if you're telling me you weren't completely crap in 2012.

Perhaps Matty Primus is free to take over again? After all anyone could coach better than Ken "Donuts" Hinkley. Imagine how mediocre you have to be to only make two prelims when another team made the grand final! Wah wah wah we're in second place on the ladder! Wah wah wah we have the best young midfield in the competition! Wah wah wah we might win the flag!

You must have some quiet moments of reflection, surely, where you realise that it's only your own headf***ed ingratitude that makes you so bitter towards Ken.
I would take Primus back because unlike Hinkley, Primus ACTUALLY had nothing to work with. Any improvements to the football department such as Darren Burgess’s appointment, or the move to AO that solidified an actual home ground that felt like home, all of the things that Koch will take credit for that turned the club around we’re done by the previous administration. The facts at hand here are pretty clear, Ken has underachieved for what you’d expect from a 10 year coach and has consistently not gotten the best out of a list he’s had the freedom to craft. There’s what, 2 players who have outlasted Ken so far? There are no excuses for him and as you are a Hawthorn fan I’m sure you’d have been livid if every season Clarko got to a Grand Final he had merely only gotten to the Prelim instead, or missed finals in half of his seasons. So don’t expect us to be happy with an 9-2 season when we are the only club who’s missed finals from 11-4 (2018, and one game worse than Carlton last year) and we haven’t seen a flag in almost 20 years. I was 1 year old ffs.
