Lol. Just when you think the people that run the Club formerly known as Port Adelaide couldn't be any more stupid....

So this bloke is going to go 13 years of not winning anything. I give him credit for somehow making a so called Professional organisation look so stupid. It is a fair effort.

It hasn't happened yet. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until it's made official. But at the moment it's not looking good.

Only 5 losses, but the average margin is 40.2 points.

-71, -31, -50, -2, -47

The median is 50 points. Our loss to Collingwood, so far, has been an outlier.

The wins:

+54, +2, +14, +40, +7, +5, +70, +4, +10, +55, +22, +38, +4, +33

Avg.: 25.6pts
Med.: 18pts

It doesn’t look that great either…

I feel sorry for people who are still emotionally invested in this club being successful. Just enjoy the community of following a footy club and embrace the character building opportunity of supporting a hopeless cause. Winning premierships is the past not the future of this club.

Very Collingwood 2022

The week of the Collingwood game I went along to a function where Travis Boak and Connor Rozee were the guests. Obviously nothing was going to officially be confirmed but I just got the impression from the way they spoke then the Hinkley contract was as good as done, but I do hope the club has the professionalism and competency to see how the season plays out.

They all seem very comfortable in the environment and I don't think the players like the idea of another coach or anyone really challenging them or changing the current environment they have in place.

A lot of the conversation from Boak and Rozee was around the need for them to be good humans first and foremost and the connection and relationships within the club is the most important thing that underpin everything they do etc. Football is not the be all and end all and there is so much more to life etc.

It was all very lovely to hear how well everyone gets on and is "connected" Sounds like a great Social Club. As a fan and member who spends $1000s of dollars I'd like to see them get connected to winning a Premiership if that wasn't too much an inconvenience.:D

  • Extend Hinkley too early
  • Fall agonisingly short again (maybe in a GF this time instead of another PF because why not?)
  • Lose Josh Carr
  • Get Grundy, Ratugolea etc. and have “missing piece” memes on social media running rampant.
  • Be flag favourites for 2024
  • Finish 10th
  • Remain stuck with Hinkley

Ken has been given a two year contract extension with a trigger for a third(unsure of what KPI exactly). Will be announced Monday or Tuesday after Geelong game if Port win. The club know a win all but secures a top 4 spot.

There is no talks or planned succession plan.
The fact that this is this poster's first post, and it was posted around 3am, leads me to believe that the poster is a Crows troll.

Travis Boak needs to be Extricated from the Club as much as Hinkley!

So could it be that the lads love for casual Kenny and his mediocre approach - spurred them on to play 13 amazing weeks to save casual Kenny? Now he’s saved - it’s back to greyhounds, golf and fishing again?

lol what a meme of a football club. I'm just gonna stick around on the forums for the deprecation and lols when they do stupid shit like a macabre comedy. I've started feeling active joy when we get belted, how did it come to this.

I had zero concern at losing that showdown. We're long past individual wins or losses mattering with this absolute joke of a football club.

What is the deal with the whole good human being shtick? Isn't that what their parents teach them to be, not a coach of a football club.

Are they implying that all other footballers that didn't play under hinkley aren't good human beings? It's a cult.

Ken is a gambler right, he raves greyhounds, he gambles.

The way he just keeps coming back to the table after losing reminds me of a gambler, ‘we will win the flag next year if we just had a ruckman and back man’…. ‘We are so close, just one more chance’…

Kochie is the enabler… more worried about what we can lose if we change rather than what we could gain.

I didn't care of the result other than the fact that we are more than likely stuck with Ken and getting pantsed won't make an iota of a difference

I’ve gone from flying to farken China to watch us play to not even attending a single game for over a year now. Having two young kids is a factor but it’s certainly not the primary one.
