Alright with our two picks:

I'm taking Langford at 7, he's Mr Consistent and never plays a bad game. Big solid, clean kicking left foot mid, wins contested ball but can use it when he does. Really low chance of being a bust.

My heart says go for Murphy Reid or Travaglia with the next pick but my head says go for Smilie because you don't get pushed to be pick 1 for most of the season without a reason. Lalor the other one here but I just don't like his disposal enough. He's real boom bust. If he comes good he looks like a brutal force, higher bust factor though.

So we take Smilie at 8, big hybrid mid who can play forward. Absolute unit and if he comes on he's Trac, Bont, Danger, Fyfe kind of score board punisher who wins midfield contests through power and brute force. Average champs but amazing Coates league season with 27 touches and 1.5 goals a game.

good move on smilie,i thought if him or o'sullivan get through to us we gotta take them, the narrative of freo dees or bombers(especially the latter)or other getting the touted number 1 draft pick slider and him regaining his mojo would just be too much

Freo select Sam Lalor.

High upside pick, and with the versatility to play straight away up forward before he works his way into the midfielder. Maybe the perfect successor to Nat Fyfe in a dual mid/fwd role.

SteeleSaints is up for the Dees

Melbourne have a need for midfield depth plus tall forwards, they select - #10 Taj Hotton

Savage is up with Hawthorn.

Essendon are a tough one they have a stacked list but are terrible under performers - they select #11 Harry Armstrong.

Essendon will be very fortunate if they can get a pick in before Isaac Kako is bid on.

Savage up with Hawthorn.

Well give Savage Kent another 30 minutes and if he doesnt show then someone to do his Hawthorn pick.

With pick 12 the Hawthorn Football Club selects Murphy Reid.

Going for best available. Assuming Josh Battle joins the hawks, can afford to take Reid. I can see Sam Mitchell getting best out of his talents.

Gold Coast select Xavier Lindsay.

Will add to the strong Gippsland Power flavour which has seen success at the Suns (Flanders, Humphries) and adds run and carry they have been missing from their strong on ball brigade.

Freo select Bo Allan.

Best WA Prospect and similar to Lalor provides opportunity to integrate with the team on a flank before progressing to the midfield.

austinnn up for Geelong

We have waited over an hour for Savage so I am going to put in a couple of bids on his behalf -

#17 - Isaac Kako - Essendon (bid matched)
#18 - Sam Marshall - Brisbane (bid matched)
#19 - Matt Whitlock - Carlton (Savage can change it if he likes)

Significant you are up with Fremantles next pick.

Really don't love this take mate.
If people have reached out to want to be a part of this process, then we should do them the courtesy of letting them take part.

Savage Kent

@Savage Kent I'm sure no one would mind if you went ahead with your real selections, unless you have a problem with that steelo?

Please read your messages - I am done. Basically didnt expect it to be so time consuming. I wrongly thought we would get it done in a couple of days. But it seems people are happy for it to drag on for days, which wasnt in my planning. All the best...
