Thanks mate. My initial pick for Carlton was a bid for Isaac Kako. Given I expect the bid to be matched, the Carlton Football Club selects Joe Berry.

The missing piece in the blues forward line is another small forward to feed off the crumbs from their gun tall forwards.
Bummer, he was my next pick.

Freo select Tom Gross.

Sort of like for like with Kako and Berry. Shown strong forward nous whilst having midfield and contest capability.

Happy with the progress of Freos tall stocks, so to get Lalor, Allen and Gross I'm very happy with.

austinnn up next with Sydney's picks.

(erm, I think you mean Richmond, no? This is the first pick of the second round, isn't it?)

Richmond selects Cooper Hynes from Dandenong Stingrays.

I went best available, and opened up a tin of Hynes. This powerful Vic Country mid-forward is a handy size at 190cm and his explosive rough and ready attitude may remind Tiger fans of another certain club favourite after a few years, even if he may not be in that very elite bracket.

We certainly hope he's more Dusty than Bust-y in any case!

Over to the Roos, MCG-Unit

Yep, my bad. I'll put up a full list again soon.

Plenty of gun tall talent here still Faull, Shanahan, Dodson etc but can't go past Moraes. Started the season in the top 5 picks range but after a disappointing champs he's drifted out.

Moraes probably the best individual quarter of the champs where he put on the afterburners and cut a game open. He's got a bit of South American brilliance about him.

Where do you see him fitting into the Saints Gringo?

I think he could play as a high half forward but probably settles on a wing longer term as Hill and Wood finish-up.... opposite Wilson. Potentially a mid as well. He's quite adaptable.

Thanks Hubnester - how do I update that pinned post?

Carlton match the bid for Ben Camporeale
Then Fremantle pick Hamish Davis.

Bit of a steal here, and a WA Native. Mid sized forward who, off a 40 disposal Colts game the week before, played Claremont seniors over the weekend.

Hoping he isn't too similar to Sturt and proves a point of difference in the Freo forwardline.

The Hawthorn Football Club selects Jobe Shanahan.

The hawks can use a young tall key forward. A sharpshooter with a clean set of hands. Rumour has it that he is a distant relative of saints stalwart Jamie Shanahan (probably BS but makes for an interesting yarn).

Savage Kent the crows are on the clock.

The Adelaide Football Club selects Alex Dodson.

Local SA prospect and the premier ruck in this year's draft pool. Athletic ruck with skills to boot. Will take some time to build strength and size but should be ready in a couple of years to take over from Reilly O'Brien.
