Why are our forwards under scrutiny every week at selection and yet you never hear hartigans name. We all know how much easier it is to play in defence in modern footy and every week hartigan is useless and still gets a game.

He panics under pressure, has no skills, gives no run from defence and is a horrible decision maker. Yet still gets a game every week, sum up the AFC.

Surely you can't be serious. How easy is it to rack up 20 odd possessions in defence going sideways and backwards. There ain't many good forward lines going around and with 18 players flooding back into the oppositions forward line when has a defenders life been any easier. West coast are one of the few good forward lines in the league now.

Racking up possessions doesn’t mean their position is easier. Sure at stoppages flooding may limit the impact of the forwards and make defence easier but 6-6-6 has made it more difficult from the bounce and teams rebound better these days (maybe except the crows) putting more pressure on defence.
