Robbo is the King of malapropisms

If reports about medical side effects are to be believed, Hird would have been King of priaprism!

Interesting way you put that rines

Caught the Cronnulla CEO (name alludes me) saying "yeah, last year we stuffed up. But we have rectified our policies and process' and will cop our due course"

As brutal as it was to their supporters, it was probably the best thing for them. They have admitted fault, and are now going to pay there due course.

I know the situations are parallels apart but I applaud Cronnulla for coming out and taking ownership. We are acknowledging and vehemently denying these allegations hence the MASSIVE media circus carrying on.

The NRL has never suggested that Cronulla will lose it's points.. never suggested that Cronulla needs to lose all its staff and players UNLESS doping charges are proven.

The NRL hasn't attempted to slander everything Cronulla for 7 months.

Bit of a difference.

I'm pretty sure that if the NRL had come out and said "Sharks likely to lose all their points and draft picks even if they didn't take anything banned" then the media would be having a circus just as bad up there..

If you get my drift.

I'm confused Mr. Finnis, if you actually gave a **** about the health and welfare of the players, why didn't you do anything when a player was destroyed by the media after taking a substance which wasn't prohibited? Why didn't you say anything about the AFL and their knowledge of AOD? Why did you do **** all when the players and Jobe in particular were destroyed about AOD?

Your attitude disgusts me. Your lack of concern for the health and welfare of our players the last 6 months has been pathetic. You did nothing to stop the media from harassing, and publishing untrue shit about the players. You did nothing for Jobe when he was battered for not taking anything prohibited. Your lack of action following the AOD admission was disturbing, it led to the media inflicting unnecessary trauma on Watson, which then spilled onto the crowd. And now Jobe has to put up with booing almost every week, this isn't good for him or his confidence. I'm sure he has been taunted outside of football aswell for doing nothing wrong, because of your lack of action.

Next time, look at your own backyard before you go and accuse a club of failing to look after the welfare of the players. Take Vlad and the AFL's dick out of your mouth and face reality, you are just as culpable as the people you accuse of possibly exposing the players to harm. You ****ing hypocritical tool

Yes man... It surpassed my ethical belief in people today... I fn lost it at certain points i would usually consider to be just human pissery... I am now sedated by Wild Turkey and 2000 AFL replays...

No one i know understands... o_O

I'd never usually drink during the week but these cold Draught stubbies are going down a treat with a steak or parma and chips these days..

I heard at some point today that the NRL have unearthed emails which allegedly point to salary cap breaches and under the table deals. So how will the NRL community and media deal with that?

If it were Melbourne though...

I do respect the Sharks for coming out and admitting the wrongs and are now trying to right them :thumbsu:

I still can't believe the AFL want to be prosecutor, judge and jury in this whole saga.

When will they learn?

yeah heard on the radio for a short amount of time that the CEO was organising a "seperate bank account to try and raise funds for Gym equipment".

Considering how the NRL scourged the Storm I wonder whether this will fire them up esp in conjunction with the drugs issue. Mind you no one gave a shit when Canterbury cheated the salary cap.

Sorry back on topic

Perhaps Little should put out a statement that says something like:

"As I have said before, the Club recognises that it had shortcomings in governance and management practices in late 2011 and 2012. Already we have changed many things within the Club to avoid a repeat of this, and we understand that we will have to accept a penalty from the AFL for these shortcomings."

How would you feel about that Yoda_?

MMA is all year round ;)

Haha, I dunno, I used to watch it back in the mid 2000's when I mistook a King of the Cage for a King of the Ring DVD, UFC 50-80 when BJ Penn was climbing the ranks, Tito was in top form and Chuck was killing people. These days it's so dry, I liked it when it was one martial art vs another, now it's more tactical and technical. I loved watching people get their heads lopped off and limbs getting snapped. Like Mir vs Silvia :D

The core issues with in each story is different (EFC - drugs, Cronnulla - mismanagement) hence the "stories are parallels apart" comment earlier there fodzilla.

We believe we have done nothing wrong on that part, so we won't take a backward step. Cronulla have acknowledged they did something wrong and are now trying to make them right.
