You know a junior is under 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s?
What you sent was his 17 and 18 years, where clearly it's harder to play as a mid if you ain't got a tank. He played there as like a 16 year old.
Also as you said had pre draft aspirations to be a midfielder and has the tools to do it.
You said only a pinch hitter and acting like he can't improve his tank? he's like 22, he's got time on his side, won't take long to improve his tank imo.
I’m really not. You're trying way to hard mate.
Same. Club has had "clean air" vibes over the last month.+1 on the excited to see what Sam does next year. I’m all in.
I reckon 6th - 8th, depending on injuries / availability.could go either way i think
either we'll improve drastically and push for the 8
or we'll stagnate as players adjust to the gameplan and need another overhaul next off-season
i don't really see a linear progression to about ~11-12th, reckon its 6-10th or 14-16th. Obviously hoping for the former, but won't be too upset if it's the latter.

And like any young, up & coming team, we'll have a couple of good wins & a couple of dumb losses.
We could be very annoying to some premiership favourites if we get a run on at season's end, but we'll more than likely fatigue about that time & maybe bow out cheaply.

Aren't there only two options?
Sam has been known to rub some clubs the wrong way haha, and for good reasonIt's interesting I had a Zoom meeting with a client today who is a Geelong supporter and I mentioned that I was excited what was to come with Mitchell in charge and he was actually shocked. I am still unimpressed with the internal handling of everything - that said I think Mitchell is going to be a great coach and I am really looking forward to the club taking a different approach to many things going forward. This draft and trade period will be really interesting as it will set the tone for the next months and help us build expectations as to why 2022 can yield. I am anticipating a move up the ladder with a ceiling of maybe snagging 7th or 8th spot on the ladder.
If they join Brisbane’s academy. Brisbane has the option to bid after pick 20. If they are good, they could go anywhere!Time now for Operation: Get Hodgey's Kids Out of Brisbane At All Costs
Nope. QLD and NSW clubs have no restrictions, can bid at any pick.If they join Brisbane’s academy. Brisbane has the option to bid after pick 20. If they are good, they could go anywhere!
Whereas if they join the Hawks as father sons. Then they are guaranteed to all play together at the Hawks.

I'm lazy & only bordering on competent so I'm not doing the research... but if anyone is research inclined, I'd love to know how the average of 108.5 for & 64.7 against matches up; with the 8-2 record as well. After shifting back across the Nullarbor to head up the side from his town of birth, Mitchell led the Box Hill Hawks – Hawthorn’s reserves – across 10 VFL contests this season for an 8-2 record and a third placed finish.
Granted this is a miniscule sample size that cannot fill an entire canvas, but across these outings, Mitchell’s side managed to post an average 108.5 points on the board each week whilst conceding a mean of just 64.7 in return.
As said, this output still requires brushwork, but what can be seen is that the five-time Peter Crimmins medallist runs a tight ship at both ends of the ground.
