Really adds nothing, but have met her husband through their business a number of times (as a customer). He's always been friendly and easy to deal with. Think I've met her there in the office too, as there's several admin staff.

(None of the panel damage was my fault btw, and several repair jobs were on behalf of wayward offspring drivers!)

20km away and a year ago. Sounds like a stretch that it is related and given it comes from a former political candidate sounds more like attention seeking, will be interesting to see if they try make a political point somehow - (the crime.is horrible and I don't doubt they were attacked - just the stories today)

On SM-A125F using BigFooty.com mobile app

Really, only 15 mins drive away. Maybe the date is significant if it's the same person attacked the lady last year.

Yep, people run along YFR, often on the road edge though as there's no path or track. Each time I've seen them when I've been driving, I've thought how dangerous that is. Could be a hit and run where she's been flung into roadside vegetation, abduction, any number of scenarios along there. Or even medical episode where she's moved off the road and collapsed out of sight.
YFR has enough traffic that someone may have seen something. 7am on a Sunday morning may be not as much but some houses out that way that may have CCTV or something.

Every time I've driven down it there are multiple cars and usually a speedo waiting to get the Uni students flying through there.

Plenty of tracks to head down too from there in your car or on foot.

I wonder if she has a Strava or an equivalent? Anyone running 20km+ at 7am is a fairly serious runner and would most likely be tracking their runs.

The assumption being I would expect shes run the route that she took before and they should be able to retrace her steps via various logged runs

Husband looks like he's had a bit of sunburn.
Put 2 together here. Samantha went missing on a 37 degree day... Husband is sunburn.
Husband is also a ginger... No gingers go outside on a 37 degree day, they cant even go outside in 20 degrees..... So what was so important? Illuminati confirmed.

Facebook group have asked this and the consensus seems to be she didn’t have strava or an equivalent

Something else I noticed. His head and around his eyes weren't sunburned. But his ears, cheeks, face and neck were. Looks like a reflection from a bright surface, like water or sand or white gravel.

I think she had low blood pressure. That combined with the heat could have led to her becoming disorientated.
All speculation I guess. Lets hope they find her.

It wasn't hot that time of the morning, she's an experienced runner and friends say she runs those trails practically everyday.

Given the above, I'd have her falling down a disused mineshaft at the bottom of the list of what's likely to have happened to her. At worst I think she could have rolled an ankle up to and including rupturing ligaments or breaking it, in which case, you'd think she'd be able to get herself back onto a trail and wait.

You never say never but I'd be very surprised if he disappearance wasn't human aided.

I live in Gordon so pretty close to the area (in a rural sense). Lots of helicopters around early in the week, not so much now.

You don't want to think this way but what I find very strange is Hubby wasn't out looking for her and when police thought they found evidence the other day he didn't get out of his car that I saw.

If my wife went missing like that I would be out with the spotlight and a shotty 24/7.

Anyway, as a male even I would not jog alone in some of those areas.

Hope I am wrong and she is found or has deliberately run away for some reason.

Agree with you that most likely human intervention.

For me, the only reason she would end up in a mine shaft is if someone put her there. They run on the roads, not in the bush. If she was injured someone would have seen her you would think and she would have probably yelled out.

I wonder if she was out jogging at all, as others have said.

Or maybe he wears a cap and sunglasses outdoors.

He spends most of his work days in a panel repair workshop, fwiw.

The husband looks really genuine to me, but will always be viewed with suspicion until further facts known. I had heard that he has been out searching a lot (possibly explains the sunburn).

I feel the opposite. His demeanour seems in stark contrast to the daughter. He seems uncomfortable with daughters distress (lots of lip licking biting and averting eyes) then when he does talk he seems unconcerned and jokes about having enough food for 12 months.

But who knows. Could just be his personality.

People react differently to stress. Might not be comfortable displaying emotion, or wondering what people will think no matter how he reacts. Looked like he wasn't sure how to comfort his daughter while she struggled through.
The Lindy Chamberlain effect.
(I'm - rightly or wrongly - assuming his innocence at this stage - based on nothing more than I've met him a few times, and... not really sure why. Hope, possibly, wanting to have faith in people, I don't really know. 😟)
