If he had broken Griffiths jaw as a result of the impact would it still be weak as piss?Weak as piss, please challenge Freo

Not the time to talk up tough man Vickery. Wilted faster than a precious flower on a slightly warm day.It would be like the Ty Vickery hit on Bambi again.......

you do realise that the umpires don't make the rules don't you?whats the point they have been ruining the game for years..isn't a Richmond flog head of it all
Taken out by a "seagull" apparently. Not the time to talk up tough man Vickery. Wilted faster than a precious flower on a slightly warm day.
you do realise the Richmond ruckman was suspended last year for a similar incident for longer? and the player wasnt even concussed.....face it Sandi got off very lightly hereIf you took your Richmond glasses off for a minute u would see how ridiculous it is.
Better still if it was a Richmond ruckman getting rubbed out for that nonsense u would be spuing as well
Im spuing for the good of the game and for Freo

Makes sense. Chips are a seagulls favourite meal... Vickery is a massive spud.Taken out by a "seagull" apparently.
It matters not that it was a Richmond player. He lined him up and took him out with his shoulder. What incident are you talking about? If you took your Richmond glasses off for a minute u would see how ridiculous it is.

Was once, take it up with them if you feel so strong against a player for electing to bump an opponent to the head and see what they say.Obviously...isn't KB head of the rules committee or was?
Yep I agree, hip & shoulder with the shoulder making contact to the head. What part of the bump to the head rule don't you understand?lined him up..hardly..it was in a ruck contest just hip and shouldered him in contest without raising his arm or elbow and Sandilands height and size meant the midget came off second best. Bad luck.
Now Freo's premeirship campaign is hindered because of bullshit contact in a ruck contest. Sandilands and Freo pay because of Sandilands size.
Give me a break.
The target player was concussed, regardless of how hard it looked, that's a significant impact and as the rules go, the guy who chose to bump and hit the head is responsible for that.
he was up against a 19 year old Cat B rookie! sandilands probably has ~10kg and ~5-6 cm on him......he isnt going to get pushed aside or jumped overIts accidental and high and what you say is true as it applies to making high contact in general play when a player chooses to bump/block, but in ruck contests engaging the body is expected. Contact is expected. Griffiths intention is also to make contact with Sandilands.
Sandilands is just using his body to maintain his position to stop himself from being jumped over or pushed aside and here he is being double teamed.
The reality is Griffiths is at best a part time ruckman and shows little awareness. Any half decent ruckman would be aware that contact would be expected.
Its the nature of ruckwork and is quite different from lining a player up in general play.
To me, it looks like sandilands thought Griffiths was rucking with him, he didn't pay any attention to the other Richmond player, just went to make it a rucking contest with a guy who haphazardly didn't protect his on space and went at the ball in the ruck and unfortunately got collected, equal fault lies with both parties for mine - it's the equivalent of leading with your head into a tackle, sure the tackler should have due diligence, but also don't be surprised if you cop one high doing that
