Still going. Sandy just hit the lead in the 4th, 67-65

Nice shot of 6-8 of the Demons boys right on the boundary.

Fitz didn't play. Scorps win by 4 points - Tom Couch kicked the winning goal... but before anyone jumps to say he should be included next week, he only had 6 disposals.

Blease and Morton didn't play so they're the emergencies for tomorrow.

Cracking game. Off the top of my head here are the players I looked at.
Stefan Martin had a solid game but made some errors, he's a possible inclusion.
Petterd was nice, didn't get into the game really until the second quarter but would also be a possible inclusion.
Bennel didn't get into the game enough but what he did do was good, he kicked a ridiculous goal in the third.
Tynan played well, needs to keep playing down there a bit longer though.
Gysberts had a really nice game, kicked a couple of really strong goals, possible inclusion for next week but may not be match fit.
Couch had an average game, though he kicked the match winning goal, managed a free for a high tackle to get the shot that would win. Personally it looked like he'd been watching some west coast players go about their business.

Lots of skill errors and turn overs, opportunities were wasted which leaves a poor after taste on a good win. Good signs from our young players. For Sandringham, they had about 14 St.Kilda listed players in the side (Casey only had 11 Melbourne listed) Beau Wilkes had a killer, best on ground in my books, unstoppable marking machine up forward but a little wasteful with his shots at goal, will probably get a spot over in St.Kilda's side next week.

Only one from todays game who should be promoted is Jordie Gysberts.

LOL.......Farren Ray.....choke choke!

Remember Beau Wilkes kicking 3 goals against Melbourne earlier in the year and getting subbed off. And not doing much else after that.

I was there and Wilkes was easily best on. I actually thought Leigh Williams (#70?) was really good for us in the forward pocket at times.

The game was full of momentum shifts and I don't think either team used the breeze well enough.

I thought Stef was pretty decent actually, contested really well for a tall guy in those conditions. Bit disappointed with Couch. Ricky looked ok but and snapped a couple of classy goals.

Our backs were really good for most of the day and seemed organised.

Spencer had a decent game too and hit some targets.
