I actually don't mind this

1 less premo in mids as some have, but your Defs, Rucks and forward lines are all pretty solid.

love the POD picks in your D4 and F4

That's the thing I actually had an extra mid but Stringer as my F3 & then an Anderson or rookie as F4 I was a bit worried so wanted a bit more strength up forward.

Thanks for the reply :)

Thoughts on team as it stands at moment?

- Whoever goes best in NAB out of Salem, Thurlow & Z. Williams will be D4.
- No Pendles I know I'm sorry :(
- If Fyfe dominates NAB I'll need to find a way to get him in...
- Whoever does better out of Simpkin/Parish in NAB gets M6.
- Gawn my POD R2 at moment I like!
- Trusting people saying Barlow will be back to 100+ consistently my F3.
- Picking Stringer to have a Supercoach breakout year my F4 POD.
- Whoever has better NAB out of Anderson/Duggan will be my F5.
- #GetOnTheCock
- $20K left.

It's got an some risk about it but it could definitely work. Looks good except i'm not sure on Gawn. don't ask me why. just don't like the look of him.

Hey guys I'm still relatively new here. Can someone create a thread for discussion about intra-club matches?

Has anyone already gone through last years sub lists to see who is under priced for this year...eg Billy Hartung.

Does anyone have a link to those stats?

Earlier Team than usual with a few questionable rookie options. Stevie J the biggest of all, worth the risk? Surely could be with a lot to prove, if his foot holds up. Heavy Mids but that's where the scoring could be If the tag numbers continue to drop. Light backline, Ben Reid? Not a good scorer along with Mitch Brown but looking for some $$ early as we did with his brother last year.

Solid team.
I think the midfield is a little deep. So I would downgrade crouch to a rookie and use the $$ to upgrade Ben Reid. Can't see him averaging enough to be a keeper.

Normally I would agree, hoping he's over his hammy Issues. Played 20 games last year at an average of 92.8. I recon he might be ready to spend bits of time in the midfield this season with a few of our older guys being rested and rotated more.
Cheers for the advice :thumbsu:
I think a few injury affected games brought him down a bit from memory!

I'm not living your ins and outs.

Malceski < Docherty
Fyfe > Pendles
Lids > wingard
I'm not sold either yet.

If Mal looks really good in NAB may revert.
I need to see how fit Fyfe is looking during NAB also.
I can keep Lids in team still if I want, via a few moves.

Thoughts on this team. Feel the defense could present problems throughout the year.

Shaw, Kolodjashnij, Docherty, Rich, Byrne, Brown (Hartley, Bonner)
Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Ablett, Kennedy, Rockliff, Gresham, Gore, cunningham (Mathieson, Keays, Jansen)
Goldstein, Martin ( Wyatt)
Martin, Dahlhaus, Barlow, Cockatoo, Kerridge, Petracca (yarran, Kommer)

Research mate.
Fanfooty is good, paired up with AFL.com stats which show TOG (time on ground)

Good structure.
11 premo keepers and 3 midpriced potentials in KK, Doc and Rich.
I'm not a fan or Rich personally. He's had years to show something and hasn't. If you think he will average 90+ keep him in but there may be a better option depending how much cash you have left.

I am a little surprised that so many have Freo's Yarran in their forward lineups.
As a Freo member I would love to see him do well, but given this is his first AFL pre-season and coming off an injury I cannot see him making an impact until mid season at the earliest.

Ok cheers, Billy, de Boer and Lyons look like the ones who's scores have been affected the most by the sub vest.
Definitely. Billy the most likely to go bang this year. Some of the other vested players from last year will have to fight for their spot. Need to play games to score or make you money so look at thier JS too.

Supercoach goss from today's intra club matches:

Collingwood:
- Adam Treloar
absolutely smashed it.
- Tom Langdon a standout down back.
- Draftee Tom Phillips looks to have adapted to the pace of AFL standard footy.

Richmond:
- Draftee Defender Nathan Broad doing extremely well on Jack Reiwaldt.
- Draftee Oleg Markov continuously intercepting reading the play well.
- John Ralph's best included Dusty, Rance & Conca

Essendon:
- Draftee Darcy Parish looks at home.
- Shaun Mckernan played well in the ruck.
- Zaharakis, Baguely, Goddard, Gwilt & Crowley named as their best.

Will post more later tonight as there's another 3 or 4 teams going at it as we speak!

Continuing on from my earlier post here's a rundown on another intra club match from today:

Kangas:
- Daniel Wells kicked 4 and was named BOG.
- Jed Anderson was a 'shining light' for the younger Roos team.
- Draftee Ryan Clarke and Rookie Will Fordham were also very good.

He's an upgrade on Mayne :drunk:

Possessions, goals and does he look AFL ready and what position did he play?
Midfield on the 'weaker side'. Looks composed, very elusive through traffic, had 5 clearances, set up a couple of goals and laid quite a few tackles. He looked more than ready.
