Never won.

Patto Vs Wild: TKO in comparison of playing ability.

Feel free to do a nautical rebuttal.
Really? I'd take Wild every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Nobody could turn the ball over like he could.

edit: Just looking at Patterson's stats now. Almost 1 goal a game is better than I expected. The 14 disposals per game isn't though especially considering how badly he used it.

You are right that he definitely wasn't our worst (though in a terrible era). But, like Toovey, I just can't take guys who can't kick.

The 1 goal a game stat is relevant, the 14 disposals isn't, completely different era.

Disposal you are spot on but he wasn't alone. That's even considering Bucks was upping the % by kicking at 122%. An efficiency we're unlikely to see challenged in the near future.

Disappointed with your non nautical response.

Neale Daniher..........inspirational.........puts its all in perspective.

I think Pendles lost someone to MND?

Been watching it all day, we are on a great winning streak!

But seriously still had tears in my eyes when the siren went in the GF ( and the music that went with it ) just shows how much this club means to all of us!

It was unbelievable. I still shed a tear when i watch the end of 90 GF with Pants holding the ball, and i have watched it around 50-60 times.

Didakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

After watching the last two games and reading Swans book.........we are seriously going to miss Swan next year more than we did this year.

Players like Swan & Pendles don't come around very often.

Havent read Swanny's book yet, but going to very soon.

Started slow for me but after about 200 pages some of the stuff I know and he shares makes it interesting reading.

I read it after reading Side By Side 2009 so it was even better for me. We lost a great player in 2016.......a great lesson to all Clubs that it takes all types to achieve the ultimate success.

How good was Reid in 2010?

Loving this match against Carlton. Its easy to forget just how formidable we were back then. Our only weakness all over the ground was our goal kicking accuracy

Truth be told, I prefer the first meeting that year, back in Round 6. The one where we booted 155 points on them in a shootout. Now that was a fun game to watch!

What makes it even more satisfying is that despite Judd/Gibbs/Murphy all racking up 30+ (and Judd taking the 3 votes), their best still wasn't good enough to avoid a smashing...

'90 GF for me, was there in the top tier with my sister, we had both waited 25+ years for this moment.

One of the greatest moments of my life, only regret is that it wasn't Carlscum on the recieving end.

'10 GF was there in the top tier again with my sister but this time with my son at his very first AFL game, wonderful memories but not quiet the euphoria surrounding '90 for those of us who endured the decades of the wilderness.

He goes alright Scott.
Silky

Not sure if this is his official player watch thread or not, because he doesnt probably need one.

Put on a clinic and ran rings around danger and selwood to show he's still one of the top 5.

No current player has been more consistent since his debut and today he should be praised, he could have easily had another stinker against the quality tha was against him.

damn his 300th (if he plays all games) is one week after we play the Bombers in round 23.. would have been funny

Maybe the first Final? ;)

Pendles still has Amazing Games but this Season he starting to have some just Average Games and Yesterday he played his Worst Game for over a Decade.

Still has years left but you can see he getting near the End of his Career

He’s got minimum 3 years to go.
Takes care of himself.
Trains and prepares impeccably.

He’s been terrific most of the year and if we stopped the Copeland count he’d be in the top few.
(Grundy miles in front).
