Amazing Tucky spent a year or two in the ressoes as well.
And shorter seasons back then to boot.

from my Delorean
He used to shit me when playing us but this bloke was a superstar.
Cost us the 1977 GF with the Phil Carman suspension for belting him.
If the two weeks given off were one we would be on 16 premiership now.
Carman probably the best I have ever seen.
In a very short career.

Amazing player and my all time favorite now having passed Peter Daicos on my personal list.
If I remember correctly, Pendles didn't play in 2006. He was sick and then played in the reserves. He's also had some fairly long stretches of injuries which goes to show how good his longevity is.
Amazingly consistent player.

And watching the draft I was a little disappointed we got him.... I wanted Ellis. Murphy and Thomas were talked up a lot more than Pendles who wasn't in the top 10 frame for a lot of people.

Scott Pendlebury’ record tonight is bigger than Lance Franklin’s 1000th goal. Such an underrated moment in AFL history

Lance spluttered to 1000 goals, but the achievement is more significant than a total possession count.

What matters is the class which continues to define the way Pendles plays.

He still gives so much.

Well done, Pendles, you absolute champion.

I still remember watching him in 2006 thinking we had a player on our hands. But who would have ever envisioned this career. 🐐

Why? It has been done several times prior, this has not

Based on the other Pendles Record watch thread, he'll get records for uncontested possessions, crowds, tackles, and most games played with a teammate (sidebottom) by end of next year.

I’d love to know the disposal efficiency on Pendles overall vs the Harvey’s.
He rarely wastes one (recent Melbourne game excluded lol)

Daring to dream, imagining the roar this man would get if we win the premiership this year, and we hear, “Number 10, Scott Pendlebury
