Cost us the 1977 GF with the Phil Carman suspension for belting him.
If the two weeks given off were one we would be on 16 premiership now.

Amazing player and my all time favorite now having passed Peter Daicos on my personal list.
If I remember correctly, Pendles didn't play in 2006. He was sick and then played in the reserves. He's also had some fairly long stretches of injuries which goes to show how good his longevity is.
Amazingly consistent player.
And watching the draft I was a little disappointed we got him.... I wanted Ellis. Murphy and Thomas were talked up a lot more than Pendles who wasn't in the top 10 frame for a lot of people.

What matters is the class which continues to define the way Pendles plays.
