And let's not forget I was in the top two for disposals in the competition before I moved to the half forward flank.

Good of you to point out one match. Maybe you should broaden your sample size. I currently have the 2nd highest disposals average of players that have played over 30 games (thanks Danoz ) and despite those two unfortunate losses, my team still finished above yours on the ladder. The fact is, you're a Captain and I'm not. Another finals loss will surely see your head on the chopping block.

You would be forgiven for thinking that the Demons coach wakes each night in a cold sweat, dreading a finals rematch with the now directionally neutral Dragons. The Demons season couldn't have gone any better. Well, except for the fact that they went 0-2 against possibly their biggest challengers. With their most important match of the year so far getting closer, we sat down for a chat with Dick.

Barney: Not a Dragon​

Sam E. Oldstory: "Richard, are the Dragons in your head?"
Richard Cranium: "Well yes, but in a good way. I got incredibly stoned last night and spent 5 hours watching Barney. Now I can't get the Dino Dance out of my head."
SO: "Isn't Barney a Dinosaur, not a Dragon?"
RC: "Isn't that the same thing?"
SO: "Well, no. One is a made up mythical creature and the other is real."
RC: "Dragons don't exist? I thought we were playing them this week?"
SO: "Yes you are. The team is real."
RC: "Like Dinosaurs?"
SO: "Yes, but they are called the Dragons."
RC: "So which one has the long tail?"
SO: "They both do."
RC: "And scales?"
SO: "I think so."
RC: "So what's the difference?"
SO: "Well, the Dinosaurs are really old."
RC: "Like @boncer34?"
SO: "Older."
RC: "Jesus! That's old. But you're saying he's a Dragon, not a Dinosaur?"
SO: "Yes."
RC: "This is confusing. I need a drink."
SO: "Me too.. So do you think you can beat them this week?"
RC: "I'm not even sure who we are playing now."
SO: "The Dragons SFA team."
RC: "You mean the Southern Dragons?"
SO: "They changed their name."
RC: "So they're the Dinosaurs now?"
SO: "No! They just dropped the Southern bit."
RC: "This is hurting my brain. I'm going to the bar."

Unfortunately we were unable to get anything useful out of the senile old twit, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens this week. Hopefully the Demons have learned their lesson from the previous two encounters and can turn the result in their favour.

I'm fairly sure they are well aware of that. They just like to rub in your mediocrity in past finals.
