North Heidelberg juniors are non-existent, Thomastown don't even have juniors, and they wouldn't have many stick around from Lalor Stars and West Lalor. That's two in the last 4 years. Lalor probably wouldn't have many either.
Think you will find Thomastown does have their own juniors
so why don't any of your JUNIORS ever play SENIORS? sure we might be afiliated with research, but they are a successful junior club evidently. maybe you guys should join up with your neighbours banyule up the road

Manson, obviously a great get but is it true that he arrived here in the coldest week of the year and has already gone back to Darwin as it is toooo cold here? (by the way the pilbara and Darwin are about 2000 kilometres apart)

No problem if a club can recruit a player to come in and play for them for the rest of the season. THE SEASON, not sinking to the depths of some of the other desperate leagues around this state that have fly in players that may raise some funds but do nothing for the fabric of the club.
Bring them in but, they come they stay. At least that way everyone knows who they are playing against.
Who cares where you get your players from, StMary's supplied players to Greensy, Watsy, Bundy, Lower, Macleod for years and continue to do so.
Bring on the footy.

There was an off the ball incident and the West Preston player left the ground with a broken jaw
Yes Waylen has gone back, but will return in a couple of weeks and play about 6 games.
Apparently so. Expect to see Marty Kemp and Jeff Phillipe in the line up soon as well!

A little birdie informed me of something recently that may give everyone a chuckle...
Murphy explained to a board member/coaching staff that he was not happy where he was playing and that he wanted to return to Heidelberg, so a plan was hatched Murphy will get a permit to play at Heidelberg in the 2's on Indigenous round. not only would he get to play his compulsory game in the two's but he would toss the coin in the Seniors to mark indigenous round! Great Plan! Murphy saw this a great opportunity to come back and it was all organised.
Heidelberg wasn't shocked that Murphy didn't show up to play in the 2's or toss the coin??

What a shit and pointless story, well done on jumping on the "Bag Murph train", make your your validate your ticket so you can stay around and watch him start playing the footy everyone on this forum knows he's capable of. And if it doesn't pay off, so be it any club would welcome experience and skill that he has and given the Bergs are showing deficiencies in those areas it would be remiss of them not to get him on board.

Thomo entered its own Juniors in this year. 9s, 11s and 15s after a few years starting an Auskick. Juniors are important at feeding the senior club with talent especially for those non cashed up clubs.

He enquired at the start of the season about playing at Lower. Unfortunately I understand the initial financial outlay was not acceptable.

I saw Stingas post, I was unaware so I stand corrected. My initial point though was that at the time they were relegated they did not have juniors

Was out at the Burra v Mont game today. Absolutely sensational. 4-5k at the game, awesome weather & the slime turned it on for three quarters. When O'loughlin went off it seemed to let the air out of Burra's tyres. Mont maintained their composure when they needed to & come up with the win. Well done to the Slime, would have made an absolute killing on grog sales alone. Great day all round.
