There won’t even be a mess when this ends in tears. Powelltown must have some very imaginative accountants if the names getting thrown up eventuate. Nice way to finish the club off.

Obviously the club didn't do their homework when they appointed Bandera. He reputation proceeds him - short term gains for long term pain. His attitude and temper is something to behold at times. Certainly wasn't someone that fitted in with the culture of Powelltown.

No wonder these guys have so many tatts - one from each club with a premiership!!

I heard straight from one of the blokes who signed we are getting this but got to say we are getting this. League needs to do a full investigation.
Bloody crap for all the other clubs in the division playing honestly who may as well pack up because Powell town will win the flag by 100 odd.

Big call remember they declared Wandin flag certainties in another Bayliss spending spree. Got beaten by a better coached and drilled out fit.
At any rate I’m sure YJ Kinglake and even Warby will be still confident.

Apparently the current group are getting told they’ll all be playing for free.
Powelltown were right on the edge with salary cap and red lining on points.

How would Cowza's points working returning to Powelly?
Bayliss, Fowkes and Gorringe would be 4 points each I presume (base 3 points + penalty for 3 clubs in 3 years), unless the league counts 2020 towards the rule.

Try 5 for Bayliss and Fowkes maybe 6 for Gorringe. Cowan 4 minimum.
They are already granted more points than most clubs.

Ah yep. Misread a couple of sections.
Gorringe presuming top 5 BnF at Wandin last year is 4pt baseline + 1pt (3 clubs in 3 years) + 1pt (premier div)
Fowkes I think is the same as Gorringe (6pt).
Bayliss I can't imagine placing top 5 in a BnF last year so he'd be 3pt baseline + the same penalties as Gorringe/Fowkes.
Cowan is either a 3 or 4 point baseline + 1 pt (premier div)

Powelltown played prelim at 43/47 points last year.
Now from that team they had 10 players who would go down a point (Wratten,Ashby,Stokes, Rohan, Garthwaite, R.Johnson, J.Johnson, Nayna, Dan Fraser and Darcy Fraser) if they all stay. Brings them back to 33/47
Between Gorridge (6), Fowkes (6), Baylis (5) and Cowan (let’s say 4) there’s 21 points just there. Will be interesting at selection table that’s for sure

Lol, Funniest part is their recruits can’t keep their mouths shut, not the smartest bunch.
Surely anyone at the league with an ounce of brains will laugh at the figures they will spit out.

Its anyones guess what there paying but it’s fair to say it won’t be above board. One things for sure this will end very badly. Good luck to who ever is left to clean up the mess.

Yeah there’s some big numbers getting mentioned. It will end in disaster but like Silvan it will be to late before any one wakes up.
