ManInWhite what happens if someone plays but isn’t recorded on the team sheet?

Is really something that the league has to manage. When I was in OE, I knew most of the players (and Facebook friends with many!!) but we can't know everyone and whether the team sheets match who takes the ground. Honesty element has to take place. Don't confuse this with players not signing any more - signatures could always be forged so that's a bit of a red herring.

ManInWhite totally agree with you, clubs need to be honest, I guess that is where a possible issue might arise. If a team did try and pull a shifty and it was confirmed then the league should issue a large fine and loss of premiership points
Agree the signing of a team sheet is a red herring

If the umpires need to report a player or team official, they need to have a copy of the team sheet in the changeroom. Also, if a player changes a jumper number, the team manager will come and amend the sheet.

With player points critical it's fair to say having the correct team sheet is critical.

Players getting credited with games and goals.
Players getting credited with games for finals qualification.

Just the little things ...

I think CB means those reasons can be managed via the internet so why bother having a paper sheet in the rooms. I was explaining the requirements for reported players / send offs and allocation of votes.

Is an under statement.
Something is not quite right with this league.

Broadford a final? Literally 2 hours from where the likely teams play. Not to mention they are leaving the league? Let’s pump money into their club

Emerald? The ground is tiny and has limited parking. How can play a premier final there?

Narre hosting a final when again they’ve made their intentions clear to leave?

Thought Thornton might have been a chance for a gig...

The premier finals venues are ridiculous.

Pump money into their club 🤣

The league has guidelines on hosting finals and it makes it hard for clubs to make any money on the day. Especially with all the time and effort the hosting clubs volunteers give.

It’s not worth it, hence the lack of clubs applying for them.

A final at Emerald is very questionable. We were there the other week and it’s hard to get a park on a normal home & away match.

Broadford I have never seen however as you stated 2 hours away is too far.

Yarra Junctions surface is notoriously poor and heavy.

I know about 6 or 7 years ago they scheduled the 2 Prem finals at Yea and Alex on the same day. That was more an effort to make an attempt at being inclusive of distant teams and I think was the last year of Luke McCormack's tenure. Next season when Bails took the helm he said no more of that rot. Not going to make teams drive to the other side of the comp for a final. But Bails isn't here any more...

That's a ridiculous decision on finals.

Is the league HQ still at Colchester Road?

Hold them there if no clubs wants to host them

It used to be a privilege to host them and clubs would plead to get them. Now the League has got greedy and basically made it not viable to host.

Got it one Ata, even the format is stuffed so your seniors finish 4th and your 2nds finish 2 your at different grounds if they it can’t change it.
Why can’t they use the same venue play 2nd v3rd on Saturday and 4th v 5th on Sunday reduces the amount of grounds required, makes it more appealing to host as your getting 2 games in one weekend and means volunteers/ support staff and don’t have to be at 2 grounds on the same day
Oh that’s right that’s what the EFL do they can’t be right 😂

Premier league almost done with Mt Evelyn losing today. Narre on top with the week off and Woori v Wandin 1st up. Berwick Springs over Emerald today at Emerald also means game on in Div 1.

Massive game for the Blue Boys this week against officer who have the MR over them already. Particularly with Seville playing Emerald the following week.
