After a heartbreaking opening round home loss league benchmark the Warriors are again at home for Round 2, taking on fellow opening round disappointments the Baghdad Bandits.
Following an offseason recruiting haul the extent of which not previously witnessed in the league's 21 seasons, the Warriors can consider themselves desperately unlucky not to have lodged a season opening victory last week. After impressive Warrior debuts from league stars in Freofalcon, toxic and boncer34, the Warriors will be looking for an improved performance form some of their veterans this week against the lowly Bandits.
The Bandits were humiliated in their season opener, veterans beez, Shermy and Itsmyshow unable to contain a rampaging Bears outfit. While rookie and early EKA favourite dennis kermit impressed in his debut outing, the Bandits will require an improved effort across the board if they are any chance to slow down a Warrior outfit on the rebound.
In a hotly contested affair, BJD.com is predicting a narrow Warriors victory, to the tune of 49 points.
Captains, please have your teams submitted by Thursday 11.59pm AEST with the heading 'Official Team Sheet'. Spelling errors or blatant **** ups are not only encouraged, but expected by the greater SweetFA community.
