Theres alot more to the story than they talk about in the doco. But its worth a watch. Im sure even neutrals can find it interesting.

Ill admit i shed a tear or two at points. Painful memories. But some great ones aswell. I wouldnt have continued being a footy fan if we went to GC i wouldnt think. Well i definitely wouldnt have been a passionate supporter anymore.

Just like you supporting the other expansion franchise.

Mind you, I would like to think they learnt from the South Melbourne and Fitzroy/Brisbane merger, niether set of fans got much out of those moves.

Fitzroy pretty much declared their club to be non-existant, while there isn't much of a South Melbourne existance anymore.

There is always more than meets the eye.

I dont think the AFL really learnt much tbh. Pretty self-evident in how they went about the GCS setup

Let's be honest, the Gold Coast is a sporting hellhole. Too many tourists and old people wanting in for the sun to not give a damn. Same case with Miami and other warm spots, they don't take it as seriously.

It could be a lot worse on the GC.
