Well. Game Day arrives and it seems Gran has forgotten to pull the old cloth off the budgie cage. Still huddled together for mutual warmth on their perch, twenty ESHies are sound asleep. Their feathers have moulted and lie stuck in the guano at the bottom of their cage.

Flightless, fightless and and utterly defenceless, the quails of the competition shiver in their sleep. Their dreams are that the deep fryer is smokin' hot and the Wonder Brand (c) mix of herbs and spices they will be coated in provide their otherwise tasteless existence with an element of interest.
