I think NinjaSwan is under 25 (?) (correct me if I'm wrong mate lol). Sparkle... there are a few young'uns about. Doesn't matter what age you leave the nest though, you're still part of the flock

I feel like my experience with mature age students has been the opposite of the norm. I feel like the majority I've noticed and clicked they're mature age are very under-equipped for the degree they are in. Though usually they're eager and pretty humble.

That under-equipped aspect also is rather unavoidable as there is a subversion of expectation with an earth and environmental science degree. It's just more noticable with older students, seeing at least the younger ones are guaranteed to have basic computer skills.
