First Preliminary Final @ The Colosseum
V
"Finally the Grand Final is within reach. We are so close to being #firsttosix."
"Hold it!"
"Stop right there you son of a bitch! That cup is mine!"
"I won't let you have it!"
"Oh we'll see about that!"

West Coast Wonders had a brilliant win against Gumbies FFC in the first qualifying final that saw them
The Away Team
Baghdad Bombers are once again into a preliminary final for the second time in consecutive seasons from finishing 6th in the home and away fixture. Whatever training Antonio BlueVein gives his team seems to be working effectively in early finals, but the hurdle of a prelim hasn't been cleared as of yet. Could this be the time that Baghdad find their way into a grand final?
The Players
All-SFA nominated player ClarkeM had a horror outing in their last game against the Bombers where he couldn't touch the ball at all. He will be looking to make a much more improved effort this week.
The finals magician Tony Lynn 15 just can't stop talking about his 151 DT grand final performance from eons ago. If Baghdad are to win this week they need him to step up and find that finals form of old.
The tackling machine Pugsley has averaged over 6 tackles per game this season and Baghdad will need his ferocity on the field to provide some of that finals pressure football that we all love.
The dominant ruckwork of croweater 41 was a sight to behold in the qualifying final against the Gumbies (20 hitouts). Wonders will need more of that tenacity in the centre bounces this week if they are to win.

Baghdad Bombers 2.0 5.2 9.3 11.4 (70)
West Coast Wonders 2.3 9.7 15.11 18.11 (119)
akkaps kicked 9 goals in a dominant display of strength by the Wonders as they bullied the Bombers all day. BallaratBulldog laid 12 tackles, and haydo, dogs105 and SweetD all gathered 26 disposals as they ran rings around their opposition.
Tony Lynn 15 (23 disposals, 9 marks), RobR (22 disposals, 6 tackles), and VSTone (23 disposals, 10 hitouts) can all hold their heads high in what was a tough day at the office.
The main differentiator: Inside 50s (12-21)
