Really seems like the Brits overdo these sorts of things, and seeing a lot of backlash on Twitter over just how over the top it is. Yeah it's tradition but all traditions end at some point.

Whatever your view on monarchy v republican, the fact is we are currently in a monarchy and it seems appropriate for this sort of thing when a senior royal has died. If it continues tomorrow I think it will be too much.
