I found it difficult to fully engage until the light v dark mode stuff tbf, otherwise I would've been the spammy boy all season

I think my problem now is that there's a universe there to cultivate and make into something special, which the fanfic is embracing, but it seems like the author herself is basically winging it. It's a shame.

The Cursed Child did read as a fanfic but I was able to forgive its textual flaws when I watched it on stage with por_please_ya - as it was amazing . I really like the FB universe but I haven’t yet grown to love it. I put that down to the characters and the medium. So yeah, my main HP outlet these days is still fanfic . I got through a lot during quarantine!

ABV uses a program which I don't have access to, so I edit each frame to make a gif. What takes ABV a couple of minutes to make takes me an hour.

Good to hear that. I'm good. I've spent most of this post-lockdown week at work but probably not a bad thing as it has let me settle into my new role properly after a messy week last week. And it's great to be around family again. #homeiswheretheheartis
