When I was younger, I did a 4000 piece jigsaw for some reason. I did it outside in our games room, but one night the cat got into the room. It decided to get into the roof, and unbeknowns to said moggy, it stopped directly over the jigsaw. Long story short - roof gives way, cat lands on jigsaw, and hundreds of pieces fly all over the room. Thankfully I managed to find them all, and I completed the puzzle in 25 days!!!

That is better than me, I did a 3000 piece jig saw puzzle this time last year and it took me 3 months to complete.

I don't think it's too widely known, but jigsaws that large have a hidden secret. If you look closely, you'll notice that pieces in the bottom half of the puzzle are exactly the same shape as the same piece in the top half of the puzzle. For example, go to the bottom right hand corner - the piece 4 across and 6 up will fit exactly into the same piece at the top left of the jigsaw: 4 across and 6 down. It's particularly handy to know, when you're doing 800 pieces of sky .

Didn’t know that. Though I love a challenge so prob won’t do that next time lol sometimes you get pieces that are stuck together when you first open up the puzzle to sort I always have to break them up unless they are connected to a side piece then I leave them.
