Official Match Thread Season 37, Grand Final - Sin City Swamprats v Ophidian Old Boys at SFA Park

I'd like to take this moment now to acknowledge one person who has been missed for much of this season. The league has long run on volunteers who commit to this place for the benefit of the 300 strong community each and every week. None commit more than the administrator of the league seemingly tying everything together and remaining resolute throughout.

The league owes an enormous thank you to Elton Johns Wig for his commitment as Season 37 admin and unfortunately, it would come at no surprise to announce that he will not be continuing in the role for Season 38 and beyond for reasons that have the full support of the Committee and league and shall be kept in confidence accordingly. We hope that Elton is one day able to return to the role that he was very much looking forward to completing and he steps aside aided by the entire Committee's support as they commence their search for a new administrator to take his place for Season 38 and beyond. More information on that will come in due course but for now, this is not about the future, it's about recognising the past season and the very man who the entire league should be thankful for committing to the role as admin this Season.

We wish Elton all the very best and we hope he continues to remain a key figure without our community, thank you Elton Johns Wig for all that you have given to the role
