Is it me or does today feel like it’s been a Wonders team chat with everyone + our past legends in Cadsky, Brenton Davy and damicky occupying the match thread today, yet only grumbleguts has been the only non-Wonder chatting with us today like it’s been awfully quiet from everyone over at Gold City.

Something tells me the Royals need to go on a early pre-season camp again, similar to the 2018 one in Adelaide to bond over their differences and become more supportive teammates

In memory of assumed murdered/missing Jesse Baird (Sydney based AFL umpire) and Luke Davies (Jessies BF), I assume there will be no goal umpires for today's game.

And black arm bands all around.

I had the pleasure of behind the goals watching Jesse umpire a couple of Freo away games in Sydney last year. Including the below one that did not end well for Freo.

Gameday morning just feels so much better when you aren't hungover.

I haven't had one of those for a long time. When you get older and your body takes literally 3 days to recover you discover its just not worth it anymore.

I am almost at that point. I can't imagine being hungover and having to look after your children would be very fun. I think when that time comes it'll be the end of my drinking days.
