Greetings to Brazil.
Soccer Kiss GIF by Atlanta United

Looks like the Hawks are a team on the rise - still don't know how we won that game 2 weeks ago.
The rebuilding at the Hawks is going very well indeed. They were never staying down for too long imo.

David Parkin the greatest coach in Carlton's history along with Jack Worrall was a Hawks man as well.

Braklet Carlton will be playing Geelong on my birthday. Hopefully the Cats won't ruin the celebrations!:laughv1:

I hope you'll be crying in your birthday Guinness... :smirkcat:

but future HB regardless, fellow OOB!

Oh at least it wouldn't be a defeat to the Pies or the Bombers!:laughv1: That's all a couple of weeks away yet anyway.

The main issue now is clearing these filthy rodents out of the campus grounds.:laughv1:

You've done your homework mate.

I came across this clip the Carlton social media team shared before, about Parko on the tram to a Blues v Hawks game being asked does he barrack for Carlton or Hawthorn?

He said he refused to answer the question.:laughv1: Regardless of who he supports he did a lot for both clubs.

He will be going to more premiership reunions at Carlton than he would at Hawthorn.

Hopefully Vossy will have as much success as our coach as Parko mate. I liked Ratts as well, but i'd have Vossy ahead of him now after last year.

With regards to those Arnie soundboard pranks, the woman from the hotel company saying i can put you in Beijing if you like, in response to him saying he didn't know which of their hotels he wanted to stay in had me in stitches!:laughv1:

I was at a lunch held in Parkin's honour. Don't go to those sorts of occasions usually but it was great fun. In part because it was a two club thing and both clubs put in a lot of effort. Sat at a table with both Carlton and Hawks supporters. Great speakers from both clubs and also Parkin himself. A most convivial atmosphere!

Three flags as our coach and two flags as a player and coach at the Hawks. I think he was captain of your 1971 flag winning team as well.

Five flags in total there. He has more flags than what the Pies have had in the last sixty or so years.:laughv1:

Extraordinary record and career. More recently, he's been a significant mentor for Sam Mitchell as a young coach.
