These were my choice of footwear last trip to Alaska, Canada & the North West

The style is Combs, canvas but waterproof and a deeper tread than others in my collection - I was walking through deep snow in various locations, or downpours in Seattle and not once did I get wet socks or feet

They've got updated models now, and while they seem available for purchase here they're twice the price as from America - a reason why I buy my Dr Martens in holiday and treat a new pair as a souvenir
