Sad news, I quite liked the McDonald sisters, naturally funny without trying too hard.

I very much loved its a knockout, it was a terrific show. I reckon it would stand up in todays market.

My only problem with its a knockout it lead to me becoming a lifelong Balmain and now Wests Tigers fan.

As a 6 yo Wayne Pearce picked me up and is forever my hero, but its his fault I support the Tigers.

Ive actually introduced on stage telling that exact story.

I'm too young for It's a Knockout but I thought that American show, Wipeout, was the 21st century adaptation of it?

This is both cruel and touching. I met Wayne Pearce in my early/mid twenties and found him to be a super chill guy. Wasn't big into league at the time so didn't realise how big a figure he actually was.

Sad. I don't think I was old enough to even know of this show, but still sad she's passed.

I dunno, never actually watched Wipeout.

I was so excited for the reincarnation of IAK in 2011(?) but Channel 10 screwed it up and it was so lame.

But my golly it was fun to watch as a kid.

Those who forget to either change or charge the battery depending the cordless style they use


I actually used a corded mouse at work at times because when using the shitty old laptops, for working on Excel docs I'd rather a mouse than the trackpad and the only spare options were corded mouses

My work is hot desking and every work mouse/keyboard is corded (and touched by plenty of other people). So invested in my own. Best thing about a wireless mouse is it fits in a pocket when going to a meeting where I need to take my laptop so unlike most others, I'm not struggling with a touchpad.

Long weekend time in NSW.
Woohoo!
I'm taking my 7 to daughter to the NRL grand final on Sunday (her first GF)
She is a Penrith fan, she has known nothing but success her entire life.
Between the Giants and Panthers, when at the game, she is 24 wins from 25 games
The footy gods are setting her up for unrealistic expectations.
My biggest fear is she'll become the type to want to sack the coach after they make 5 grand finals in 12 years.

I grew up a Geelong fan, and that was before the family moved back to the region when I was a youngster - so the 90s wasn't exactly a fun time to support the blue & white

Then this team called the Storm came along and suddenly there was was new sport to watch

The last couple of decades have been fun
