Not sure how the AFL can prove one persons version of events over another.

They said on that Footy Confidential program that there are witnesses besides Sellwood and Headland to the alleged conversation. Their evidence could be vital in verifying which version took place.

Well Selwood looks like a six year old girl himself so who knows.

But if he did say "that looks like a girl i slept with last week" and Des went off with him then Des is an utter ****wit.
But if Selwood said what Des said he did (and Selwood should have the book thrown at him as well) then although i understand his anger, going off at someone like that is still pretty weak.

Have to wait and see what these witnesses come out and say.

I've seen the tat, he wouldn't need to be standing still for you to know how old the girls is, but this is beside the point anyway. If the man had any decency he wouldn't be making the kind of comments that he has. If Selwood said what he claims he said, then it's low but nothing more, but if he's said what Headland is alleging, then that should never be acceptable.

Doubt there's a man alive that wouldnt have gone off the deep end at him.

Pretending Headland is somehow soft or stupid over this isnt right and those saying that are probably the soft or stupid ones....it is becoming increasingly likely that it was simply a natural instinct to drop him.

Lets face it...some pimply faced weed on the other team has just called your 6yo daughter a s$#t and claimed to have given her one last night...yeppppp...lowest of low and pathetic...perhaps his teammates shoulda told him to pull his bloody head in....a fair result would have been to let Headland do what he liked with the little ****.

I'm sure tho that they'll be able to deny and lie their way out of it ...they've had a lot of practice at that lately.

He simply crossed the line by the sounds of it ...and yes it is "allegedly" ...just like all the other pathetic and ridiculous things the toasters have been doing lately.

Calling someone a "black $#$#" is arguably less of an issue than this....for one thing it is directed at the bloke who is there to defend himself...if Selwood said what is claimed then it is goes beyond anything acceptable as a taunt or sledge...if u dont have the brains to stay behind that invisible line of acceptibility then u dont run ya mouth off like a squibb.
