Having previously crunched both Chippys and Crushys numbers side by side, I'd be planting every scarp of currency I've got on it being above 2,000. If it's not, your algorithm is busted.

Wow! So he didn't come first after all. With an incredibly high Gatecrashing Score of 1192.4 and 542 invasive posts, Crushy is indeed worthy of a Top 2 spot in this list. But what has stopped him from taking the crown? It's that he only crashed 12 threads, which is only the 16th highest on this list. In fact, he only crashed four non-Bomber threads over the first nine rounds. Incredible!

So before we tackle the Crushy/Bomber situation, let's look at those four other threads. It didn't occur until Round 6 when he ducked into the ROY/CIW thread for half a dozen abusive posts directed at TedDougChris after Crushy noticed he was saying something negative about the Bombers. Then he aggressively responded to a tag by JackBero in the Round 7 FUR/GCR thread, which only succeeded in getting the attention of Blacky who riled him up even further. The following people were then on the receiving end of Crushy pot shots over the course of his 37 post intrusion that day: The Half Back, Paddles_, The Filth Wizard, Marlowe, spookism, Mister M, BLUEALLTHRU, brahj, NaturalDisaster, CakeEater, Bastyy, Tigerturbulance and Kennedy Parker. Oof! This wasn't a precise strike by any definition. No, there were stray bullets going everywhere in that thread with varying degrees of effectiveness.

He was back to crash the Furies again in the following week's FUR/WON thread when Bonz tagged him in. In rather calm display by Crushy's standards, he had an inane (21 post) chat with Bastyy, Tigerturbulance and haydo about absolutely nothing. Then he came visiting the Furies again in Round 9 in their thread with the Hawks after a Golumless tag. That got JackBero and Bastyy excited once more, and uppercuts were issued promptly among his dozen posts.

So that brings us to Metalcrusher and the Bombers. Is it really Gatecrashing if Crushy thinks he's actually a Bomber? Is the S31 Bomber captaincy statement from the Bomber LG legitimate, or are they just playing up to the crowd? Regardless, Crushy was in every Bomber match thread over the first nine rounds. In the eight Bomber match threads not involving the Bears, Crushy posted 466 times including a 153 post effort in Round 1. If he was on the Bombers list he'd be in their top 10 more prolific posters ahead of the likes of KohPhi and miggs. I'm not going to claim I read all of those posts because that would be ****ing stupid, but a quick scan shows few tags to try and draw him in. But what is very evident is there has been plenty of encouragement from Bombers like Antonio BlueVein, Kilroy, TheCoach16, cadsky and Tony Lynn 15 to pump his tyres and encourage any banter in the direction of their opponents. Seldom does he take a crack at any Bomber not named Wayne. Truly to the uninitiated it would appear he was on the Bombers list.

The solution to this problem is simple: Crushy goes to the Bombers next season, and JackBero and Bastyy are banned from tagging him. No more Gatecrashing. Easy.
