Last time these two teams met, it was Vic Country's tall forwards who did the damage with Frothies Mcveigh and Tigerturbulance kicking 5 goals apiece, to help them to a convincing 37 point victory.

This is an important game for both sides, who are currently winless and occupy the bottom 2 places on the ladder. Things are a little more dire for Vic Country, who have lost both their matches, while South Australia has only lost one game courtesy of sitting out Round 1 because of the bye.

Vic Country started their campaign against WA in Round 1, shooting out to a 5 goal lead at quarter time, but since then it’s been all downhill for the Counts. They were hauled in by WA to lose by 29 points and in Round 2 they lost to their local rivals Vic Metro after letting Metro kick the last 29 points of the game to lose by 17 points. Vic Country will need to win this game and by some margin to improve their percentage to give themselves a chance at making it into the Grand Final, a loss and they will be playing for pride in their final game.

For Vic Country, ClarkeM and TheGoatBaron have led the way with 6 goals each, and the 2 key forwards from last series, Frothies Mcveigh and Tigerturbulance, have moved onto the ball to lead Vic Country in disposals with 41 each.

South Australia sat out Round 1 with the bye and in Round 2 took on Western Australia. SA dominated the first quarter but couldn’t make it count on the scoreboard, and that came back to bite them as WA had fewer shots for goal but their superior accuracy got them over the line by 18 points, despite sausageroll's 5 final quarter goals. South Australia will be looking to make more of their chances in this game and equal their ledger at 1-1, a 6 goal win will see them leapfrog Vic Metro who have the bye this round.

It wasn’t the SA key forwards who were wayward with their goalkicking, with sausageroll kicking 6 straight and Brenton Davy 4.2. The South Australians had 6 players get over 20 possessions, with GreyCrow and Tadpole, with 25 each, the best of the bunch.
