Since CVs are okeydoke7's most favourite thing in the whole wide world I thought I may as well indulge him by comparing the cumulative CVs of the Allies and the 'powerhouse' that is Vic Metro. For arguments sake, we'll only include awards that everyone in the league are eligible to win so let's leave out club specific awards. Given the representative nature of this competition surely the players will have substantial enough achievements to make club awards hardly matter

So as we can see, the Allies team is superior on pretty much every major criteria. Metro wins on the TFLUA-Tiger but let's face it, nobody really cares about that award and TFLUA tiger wasn't even that much of a legend in the league. Besides, it was an admin's choice award, awarded by an Allies admin. Then there's the number of premiership players where Metro have double the Allies, however, remember that there are 20 premiership players every season and most of these premiership players at metro played in the same teams. Meanwhile, on the Allies we have 5 separate players who have LED their respective teams to premiership glory which is are for more significant achievement than being at the right place at the right time.

In summary, Allies are clearly the objectively superior team in this match up. We're better posting contributors as seen by almost double the All-SFA selections, we have 2 Beez award winners (and 2 out of the top 3 all time vote pollers), a Frankston Rover Award winner and an EKA winner, in the long run as well given our 3 to 1 advantage in number of Hall of Famers. We're more quality leadership as seen by our advantage in premiership captains 5 to 1, and 2 league admins to 1, and All-SFA captains 2 to 0. Plus more goal kicking power that Okey always prides himself one with 4 Fred Medal winners compared to just 2 at Metro.

It's your move now Okey. I look forward to seeing what sort of mental gymnastics you could pull to try and get out of this one.
