I'm proving I'm far more relevant as ex admin as you.

Since your return you've done s**t * all.

Should have just kept your legacy as the last decent admin since The Filth Wizard.
Just because I don't constantly boast about minuscule feats doesn't mean I don't do anything ND. 100% beez voter participation and meeting deadlines is a nice CV padding, but how does that actually improve the league experience?

If you were competent I wouldn't even need to come back.
When I began:
  • the league had a pervasive culture of shitting on simmers, I stamped that out with the mods
  • I established a system of sim checking so simming errors get corrected before they get posted
  • the tours were mostly unsuccessful and sometimes embarrassing, in the last month I coordinated a tour of the GD Board that with a hand-picked team that was well-recived and raised $2k for charity. A lot of credit goes TheInjuryFactory and Wosh for that success but the original idea to combine charity games and tours was mine.
  • state of origin was on the ropes under you, ive brought it back with the hype and build up it deserves
  • i set up a new process of nominations and induction for the new Hall of Fame committee that you brought in and abandoned
  • throughout the season I created spreadsheets, codes, resources for tracking of playing positions, collating the posting stats data for all 35 seasons, and also automated the collection of such stats from the site. I did this myself, didn't ask anyone else to do it, and didn't feel the need to brag about it
  • I got rid of many unnecessary penalties that did not help the simming process, I do what I believe In whether it is popular or not.

I did all of this while having one season derailed by RL issues and still have one season to go.

okeydoke7 might demand to be an Immortal.

But I don't need to because I already am. Don't need a label to prove it.

You talk, I do. You whine, I work.

  • State of Origin OPs met on time
  • Not sucumbing to ClarkeM melts (0 for me)
  • Number of awards rescheduled late night (0)
  • % beez voters completed (I got 100%, how many did you?)
  • Number of expansion bids appproved/rebrainds approved (me 2, you 0)
  • Committee deadline adherence

Lets unpack this
  • the league had a pervasive culture of shitting on simmers, I stamped that out with the mods
will give you this one, you seem to have successfully done what I could not do
  • I established a system of sim checking so simming errors get corrected before they get posted
This was my suggestion at the end of my reign, don't claim it
  • the tours were mostly unsuccessful and sometimes embarrassing, in the last month I coordinated a tour of the GD Board that with a hand-picked team that was well-recived and raised $2k for charity. A lot of credit goes TheInjuryFactory and Wosh for that success but the original idea to combine charity games and tours was mine.
This was woshes success, not yours. Even then, I'm not sure about using charities as a tool to recruit.
  • state of origin was on the ropes under you, ive brought it back with the hype and build up it deserves
Yeah, I'm not sure its had THAT much hype my friend.
  • i set up a new process of nominations and induction for the new Hall of Fame committee that you brought in and abandoned
You can have this one, I was horrible at this.
  • throughout the season I created spreadsheets, codes, resources for tracking of playing positions, collating the posting stats data for all 35 seasons, and also automated the collection of such stats from the site. I did this myself, didn't ask anyone else to do it, and didn't feel the need to brag about it
Oh really? Where?
  • I got rid of many unnecessary penalties that did not help the simming process, I do what I believe In whether it is popular or not.
The 'unessecary' penalties is part of the drama and roleplay of the league. You have deprived us of it...

You suggested something at the end of your three season reign but didn't actually implement it?

I actually check all the sims for errors every week of S34 and S35 and approve before they get posted. How many rounds of sims did you check between S31-S33, every week?

Thought so.

  • the tours were mostly unsuccessful and sometimes embarrassing, in the last month I coordinated a tour of the GD Board that with a hand-picked team that was well-recived and raised $2k for charity. By this logic, you can't claim the Old Boys expansion because Tigerturbulance did all the heavy lifting?

A successful initiative can be a credit to multiple people ND. Yes, Wosh was brilliant in engaging the GD people she knew. I also happened to be heavily involved in planning out how the initiative would go, the putting together of the team, the coordination and communication, the simming and posting of the game. Also, add that it was my idea that I suggested in the first place.

You don't get it ND, we are not using charities as a recruitment tool. We're taking an initiative that is successful in this community and introducing it to another. No party is being 'used' here, the charity wins because of the funds raised, the GD locals have fun so they win, and the SFA build up better relationships with moderators and members of another board which will mean future opportunities to recruit.

WIN-WIN-WIN

  • state of origin was on the ropes under you, ive brought it back with the hype and build up it deserves
Yeah, I'm not sure its had THAT much hype my friend.
In the middle of year when the site is more active, captains and vice-captains interviews, decent amount of sign-ups and even a bit of controversy with the Queensland bid which means potential growth in future series.

Compared to the 2022 version? Yeah, more hype.

  • throughout the season I created spreadsheets, codes, resources for tracking of playing positions, collating the posting stats data for all 35 seasons, and also automated the collection of such stats from the site. Search function is your friend.

But since I am the friendliest poster in this league, here it is. 🤗

I disagree.

Unnecessary penalties are horseshit and I doubt the committee will be reintroducing them even after I finish my admin run.

Anyway, before I get back to my holiday, I'll offer up the usual insults people hurl at the Allies.

Blah blah blah, not a real state, yada yada yada, rugby or something, etc etc etc, two headed Tasmanians, so on and so forth, go Metro.
