This seems all rather dramatic. Surely it would be hard to keep quiet about who was arrested with the 2 players in question being arrested outside their club ground?

If true, and we take the statement literally "their" should infer a home team.
Luton, Sheffield, Wolves, Everton, Palace, Villa and Fulham all had home games over the weekend.
