unsure mate think they've forfeited quite a few games of late

Well the Telegraph better hold its back page for tomorrow then.
Looks like the biggest (but probably even less successful) comeback since Tony Lockett might not be taking place after all.

No, I understand comebacks of Michael Jordan proportions (his first one) are planned for Kings Park

Tis True Grandale....Tis True :thumbsu:

Im Unavailable this week but I am hoping to get down there for a bit of a look(When I told Browny he said thats ok I think we have you covered;))

Sadly I think it may be one of the Tallarook sides.
And here I was crossing my fingers and hoping it'd be Pyalong....only joking boys.:thumbsu::)

I was hoping it'd be Pyalong too...then I'd be allowed to have a can in between overs if what I read on here is corect.

I dont get it, why would you hope Seymour plays Pyalong when Seymour is struggling to field a side?? Doesnt a team still get awarded points if the other forfeits??

Joey how did the boys go yesterday?

No good mate, second loss for the year. we made bout 185 batting first, jack whalan continued his good form making 36ish, second highest scorer was myself on 33, Sterlo and crazy chipped in with 20's.
Flowerdale made the runs 8 down with 2 overs remaining, there skipper remained unbeaten on 109 not out, top knock. our bowlerswent for a bit of stick, i took 3, clint took a couple and biggzy bowled sh*t hot in his first game back. Joel Dunn's return to c grade cricket at Flowerdale after chrissie (after a stint at Yea in a grade) will be a huge get. We got Roals at Royals this week.

Anyone no where Royals play their C grade games??

why is joel dunn playing c grade? he showed he has the talent to play a grade, surely he should be playing there. don't know just frustrates me as i have no ability to see guys who have some much talent wasting it playing c grade.

Anyone have an idea of the weather this weekend? will games get going?

Eastern Hill will conveniently forget to put the covers on tonight.
That said, the weather is meant to be deplorable on Saturday. 18 and rain in Melb. Add on a coupla extra degrees for Seymour, but I still don't think it will enable many games to proceed.
Still haven't heard 100% who and where the Maroons Cs are meant to play this week, but.

Speaking of covers, Seymour B grade were very slow in taking their covers off on saturday, in the end, the away side and the umpire had to take them off to be able to start on time

Had the grand total of 3mm at my joint FBP, which is in a westerly direction from Seymour, and about 40 k's as the crow flies. Looks like on the weather maps that we have missed out again! Supposedly, as I look out the window at the copious amounts of blue sky, we are getting bucket loads today......guess we'll just have to see.
