I wont elaborate any further suffice to say as I have said in earlier posts, the season will determine how we shape up

So who are the juniors coming through??

or do you only know them by the number on their backs like most imps supporters!!!

Go number 15!!!!!!:D

I think if you look at all the sides many players have left the sfl, it is becoming increasingly difficult to compete with the big dollars from the other leagues. Nothing is wrong at Imps and as I quoted earlier our recruits and juniors will more than compensate for the losses. As for Richo I wish him the best, but I could be wrong but I don't think he finished out a full game with his hamstring injuries, if he is too play well that problem must be properly managed. Bateman I really can't recall and I dont know anything about Zac

Heard around the place that Richardson looks like one of the fittest at the Mildura training sessions, those hamstring problems must be not trouballing him at all. Imps must have a great recovery system down there at no 1, all there players leaving seem to be in great shape, very big boots to fill.

So whats Irymple doing then trying to buy a premiership? sounds like they're looking for a new list?? no trust in their kids that have been coming up through the ranks?? either way guess the seaon will be the true judge.......

So who have you guys picked up???

Watched a few of your junior games last year and i couldnt really see anyone that would be a walk up start to the seniors in any team, the only one might be Nick Mee.

Conner Lynch played some senior games last year, he'll step up. Tom Hewitt is a hard nut for a 17 year old and should get some game time as well. Nick Mee is only 16, certainly has the skills, he's also distracted with Pioneers at the moment. A loss from the juniors is Darby Edgeworth, heading to Melb for school. Don't worry, there are some younger ones that will put their hands up to play seniors at Imps.....they'll be better for the experience.

Maybe they simply want tp replace those that leave for work or school or end up at the Pioneers.
This happens every season, clubs bring up kids some stay some leave its how you compensate for this that makes a strong side. Its not buying a flag its managing your list to suit your needs. They've apparently lost potential recruits because they would not pay what they felt they were worth.

November, Red Cliffs talking up Tasiyan as coach for 2011 "in the bag"
December, No go, wife won't move to Mildura

February 2011 signed with Mallee Eagles (Lalbert) in the CMFL

What numbers are those boys schnails??

]What numbers are those boys schnails??

Nick wore number 6 in the under 16 comp and 25 in the under 18 comp. Tom I think wore 19 and Conner I cannot recall. If you look across the SFL under 18 comp, there will be plenty of great football to watch in the coming years. Mildura has plenty to choose from, several at Imps, Merbein has some talent in James Baren, Collihole (obviously), Josh Whitelaw, Irymple has plenty, as does Wentworth (fantastic u16 group), the list goes on. As an outsider coming to the region only a few years ago (from Geelong), the SFNL junior program has turned out some fantastic local talent.
No matter what happens this year with player movements, I'm looking forward to see the younger ones who step up. If Mildura can keep the core of their u16/u18 group together, they'll be a major force in a couple of years.

D Hickey has moved to Darwin and wont be back so add that to the list.
Also heard there coach is struggling with groin problems which is related to his neck injury that has kept him out of the game last year. Can any imps boys say if he has been training?
Petrie may miss the start of the season with a stuffed calf as well

Stinky Smith has gone as well as have a few others. Starting to hear some rumbling's coming from Robinvale, coach apparently not happy ATM with signings

Did hear the same thing aswell malleeboy, heard moncur called a crisis meeting with the club on saturday. Reports are that he may even be looking to head back up North if the club cant replace their loses.

Everyone loves it when Imps are looking shaky, and the sooking starts when they start winning against the odds. I'm not saying they'll be contenders this year, but would anyone be surprised if they are? Can't wait for the season to start.....

true test of his coaching could be if they dont have such a great side player wise.......

Thomas Motlop is a gun. He won his clubs B&F this year easy and won the Darwin media's player of the year award. He normally plays in the WAFL during winter but you would say he he would be on a good incentive to come to
Robinvale.
I believe they are trying to recruit a ruckman from up north as well
