Not everyone is born with movie star looks, but in fairness to hopey i think he is a victim of his president giving everyone the shits , I believe he is a good fella and has served local footy well. I guess when your a coach and a player your under the microscope and when youy fail miserably in both areas on the big day you have to take the medicine thats dished out

Well maybe he has to make a decision between coaching and working at macdonalds because doing both hasn't worked and it also must be hard for the players to take him serious when he rocks up to training in his full Ronald clobber especially the lippy and the oversized shiny red shoes
You think he'd remove the orange Afro before getting out onto the track it must cause a shocking distraction for the players

Well it certainly has been an interesting 2011 season in the SFL.
About 6 weeks ago you would have received short odds on the
East Brighton/Springvale Dist/Mt Waverley trifecta.

East Brighton fell at the last hurdle after dominating most of the season.
In Div 2 Springvale Districts the hottest favourites in years to win the flag went out in straight sets after being the stand out team for most of the season, whilst Highett went along under the radar and won the flag in a convincing fashion against a disappointing Bentleigh.

In Div 3, Mt Waverley lost their 3rd Grand Final again after dominating all season.

Highett now have the challenge ahead of them to try and stay up in Div 1.It will require some shrewd recruiting and hopefully they don't implode like they did the last time they were in Div 1.

It will be an interesting of season as clubs recruit to take the next step.

Im the dunce, at least my face is clean of egg and I dont have to say sorry to my supporters for shooting off my mouth, playing the club theme song before the end of the game and other general just plain stupid acts.

Who dat- Im sure your happy with Hope/Murphy coaching panel, just like the 30 odd players who left the club in the last two years cos they were'nt getting any decent game time, cos the coach was either had too big an ego or is too dumb to realise he can't cut it playing on the ball,or Murphy wouldn't tell him otherwise.

How do the guys that got dropped out of the your team feel after you got 4-5 new players in after the season had started ? Yes it does happen in every club.But we will be harder next time and we had a top year and Hope /Murphy have done a top job ,next year we will go one better Go Vampires 2012. So back in your hole till next year as you haven't said anything all year till a few weeks ago

I love how you have a go at Dingley for winning the 2's flag.What's wrong with 2's football???? Every single club in the SFL would be a 2's side in EFL Div1. It's not like this comp is the AFL.Get off your high horse and stop acting so high and mighty.If your club so great go play in the EFL div1 and let as know how you go.I reckon 5 of your players would play 1's for any of the top 5 clubs there.Your club would be in Div3 in 2 years.
