Ladder Prediction

1. Clayton (All reports state they have retained the majority of the senior group & have added some previous division 1 players - should be tough to beat)

2. Endeavour Hills (New coach - favorite son of the club) Have been so close the last couple of seasons, if they can add 2-3 quality players they should be again a top contender.

3. Black Rock (New coach, previous player in the EFL - Seems as if BR have gone on a much needed recruiting drive, been way to reliant on the same few last couple of seasons)

4. Narre South (Previously known as Hallam FC when they were actually good, should be very competitive in there first year of SFNL)

5. Heatherton (Promoted after finishing 6th in an 8 team comp in 2018, won one game in Div 2 last year, always spend money on blokes who are over the hill)

6. Ashwood (New young coach - cannot see Ashwood improving, is pat carroll going around again? Without him they are cooked)

7. South Yarra (New coach - not sure if he is bringing any players across, have heard a fair exodus was on the cards)

8. South Mornington (Similar season to the navy boys unless they have a serious sudden influx of players)

EH the sliders for mine. Clayton warm favourites with Heatherton the big unknown

Good assessment, BR gone on a recruiting drive to try mix it with the better teams in the comp.

Bookies odds at guavbet.com.au just being released for the 2020 Season

$1.80 Clayton - Just need to keep the side from last year together and will walk this year in
$4.50 EH - Always choke come the business end of the year but if they keep putting themselves there it will change eventually
$5.50 Heatherton - Always spend a bit of $$$ which will keep them around the mark
$8.50 Black Rock - New coach may bring in a few players, but not playing on the home deck each week may prove challenging
$11 - Narre South/Hallam - Will go ok against the lower teams but cant mix it with the big dogs
$51 - Bashwood - Club that lacks culture and heart, will never win a thing until the joint is cleared of the rabble
$61 - South Yarra - Any team that requests a move down to Div 4 to win a flag is pi55weak, no hope
$101 - South Mornington - Yikes, good luck

Gone a bit hard on the Tunners. They won two and a half games and lost a couple of narrow games in Div 2. From what I hear they have retained nearly all their list and recruited a few. For me it would be Clayton, EHills, Heatherton the teams to watch.

Typical. Not in the same post but any comments on here and you state they are from BR. I made a comment Ashwoods pugsly Carrol will be back in round 5 and then you automatically state I’m from BR. Oh yeah, that’s right, silly you. No granny desert for you or the pugsly boys.

Haha just seems like a BR thing to say. No stress if you’re not. Anywho back to the main focus of the thread thanks!
