If we are offering 10 and 18 today then 10 and hopefully 14-18 next year is better for us as we keep two top 20 bids this year.

Might even get something back with Bolton if pick 2 is the offer like upgrade 30 into 23.

Downside is less collateral for Warner but we can trade futures next year and will meet first round pick quota this year.

I've been reading the Richmond board and have to ask why so many of them are convinced they can get West Coast involved, or think West Coast is any chance of being involved??

Bolton wants Fremantle, he didn't reach out to West Coast half way through the year, he reached out to us to ask if we were able to bring him home. We can say "Well he hasn't officially nominated a club so West Coast are a chance!" But internally it's already confirmed he's nominated us.

Because they want pick 3 and it feels better that way

Some might argue look at the team he is in but it works both ways, he got a lot of goals this year off the rebound when they're 40 points down and opposition are applying less pressure. Expect him to kick around the same mark, 35-40 for us.

I'm not the one pretending that Bolton will perform at Richmond in 2025 while his partner and children, including a newborn are on the other side of the country.

Richmond are highly, highly motivated sellers here. It sucks for Richmond but it's a problem Richmond and Bolton are bringing to the WA clubs and getting what they can for him in trade isn't going to be the same as getting best value.

It sucks, but it's not a Freo problem.

It always presents like that in drafts, but everyone knows the buyer comes out the winner. Empty threats and drama always fill the news but in reality it never comes to that.

I think by nature of being the type thats better in better teams, he's probably in the top 5 of most if not all teams, so yes.
