The pick Melb gain from Sydney for Grundy will be given to Adel for McAdam
I wouldn't bank on getting much for Grundy. I think Syd will ask for Melb to pay some of Grundy's salary. If Melb agree, they might get a pick in the 30s, if not they might have to give him away for a late (50+) pick. Adel won't accept that for McAdam.

They won’t be tied. Grundy is worth more and contracted and will be a walk up start in Sydney’s team. McAdams isn’t contracted and will be a depth player rotating in and out with Joel Smith.

Will be Jordan compo, likely band 4 end of 2nd round.

McAdam will comfortably be in melborunes 22

But the fact the dees clearly want to get rid of grundy, and as much of his contract as possible, makes him a hell of a lot less valuable regardless of contract status.

On McVee:

McVee has a 9.1% loss rate when competing in defensive one-on-ones, which ranks in the Top 5 defenders (with 10+ one-on-ones) this season. He is only 20yo too. Pretty handy player.

Edit - I have discovered this stat was from June. For the season the loss rate is 16.7%. Still very good.

16.7 percent on afl.com.au (which is still really good), but he only averages 1 defensive contest per game. Does he often actually take the best small forward?

if you don't know McVee, you've been asleep at the wheel. One of the brightest young guns in the league.
Looks a decent prospect, but not going to help your forward woes... ;)
