Get the one that talked for two hours to get Cripps off, after he got airborne to concuss the Brisbane player in R22 last season.

This blatant Vic bias leaves a bad taste in the mouth
What pisses me off is to hear that Gill was pissed off about that..

Well Gill you dumbfxxk moron.. youre the idiot running the show… make the necessary changes to ensure the system works..

Yet here we are in 2023 and the system not only still doesnt work.. but its decisions are getting even worse..

Just hand over the reigns to someone else you incompetent prick.

Cripps got a Brownlow out of it.

Glad the karma bus hit the Blues in that final round game, would have been criminal if they got to the finals off the back of Cripps getting off.

I am leaning that way myself..they got caught off guard by us with the Mackay appeal (we usually just roll over and they were not expecting resistance) and we snuck an unexpected win...they are not letting that scenario play out with us again and it would not surprise in the least if they have not already tapped up the appeal board panel already
That also had the weight of the Victorian Media on McKay's/the AFC's side. With only a small subsect who couldn't see the stupidity of it.

This time round the Vic media are more interested in missing the point and taking pot shots at South Australia then actually discussing the issue at hand. So yeah, Crows have a snowballs chance in hell IMO

If we’re talking about Vic biases then yeah, we have a snowballs chance in hell to get McAdam off.

But if we’re talking about a fair trial and fair punishments, then McAdam shouldn’t get anymore than 2 weeks when comparing to the other 2 head-knock incidents. I’d argue further the incident was wreckless rather than intentional, and there was no clear evidence of head high contact. 3 weeks is a bloody disgrace to the game of footy, considering the player was able to play out the match!

Feel like this is one of those tackles that actually looks a bit worse than it really was. In the old days this would have made a highlight reel. Going by todays standard it looks like 2 weeks to me. Three is just the Adelaide tax.

I think it looks worse because of the commentary at the time. The commentators were making an assumption that Wehr laid motionless due to a concussion. I think a lot of fans might think the same too. Looking at the highlights though, there was no obvious head contact and the majority of impact was at the chest region. This would likely cause a player to be winded, and not able to breathe properly for a short while.

It depends who you listen to. JB and Billy on the Rush Hour (which is a higher rating show than Hutchy's crap) both thought Pickett's looked worse than McAdam, so could understand why the Crows would be frustrated and angry with the heavier sentence for McAdam.

Wehr doesnt lose consciousness at any point..

He goes down and immediately both his hands/arms go to reach around his stomach..

He was winded.. badly.

I reacon mcadam’s bump pushed the sherrin straight into his stomach and forced all the wind out of him.

The loud noise that the Commentators claimed they could hear “all over the ground” was wehr getting the wind knocked out of him.

The sweat flying off his hair made the whole thing look way worse than it was as far as his head goes..

If McAdam got 2, or if Pickett got 3, I wouldn't care at all

but that didn't happen so it's just another 'get ****ed' moment from this stupid league
Thats what makes all of this so stupid.

The Crows are not unreasonable. Given what Pickett and Buddy got, McAdam should have got 1 to 2 games potentially.

3 is a joke. Our Club had to take a stand. It will win on this regard IMO, but he will still miss a few.

The Key to McAdam's Case

McAdam's representative Tom Duggan KC says they will fight the 'severe' grading of the impact, trying to prove there was an error in law.

This is where we will win tonight. :drunk:

He will still cop a game or two, but should be thrown out because procedurally the AFL f**ked up.

“After a brief chat with the Crows via WhatsApp - which Duggan called "WeChat" before correcting himself - Duggan is concluding his submissions.

He believes impact should "stay at low", which would result in a fine instead of three matches.”
A bit rich to ask for it be low impact that's biting off more than we can chew
