Everything's bloody illegal in Australia... except the most destructive drug of all. There's zero logic to any of it.

The bigger issue here is equalisation.

How are West Australian clubs supposed to compete for talent in this competition with our coke prices?

Reckon the AFl would be filthy(er) this dropped on AFLW draft day. Headline pinching.

The AFL would be only too pleased to comply, so long as all players guilty of this are fringe players. They'd be sacking them in droves. However, because high profile players keep getting caught, the AFL just keep sweeping it under the table. Players know this, so there's no reason to abstain.
Massive fines might help a bit

It'd be hard to find someone who has a phone that records videos that poor in quality these days

This might not have been a video recording on the phone ... it may have been a video call to somebody who was recording. The waving at the start might not be “don’t film”, but be a wave to whoever was on the other end of the video call.

And it should be easy to determine from the video metadata when it was recorded.
