Likely someone with axe to grind surely but just guesswork as to who. Bottom line is if it didn't happen there wouldn't be a video.
GWS released the video so Mumford doesn't get picked up by another club?

This might not have been a video recording on the phone ... it may have been a video call to somebody who was recording. The waving at the start might not be “don’t film”, but be a wave to whoever was on the other end of the video call.
And it should be easy to determine from the video metadata when it was recorded.
